Antenna Solutions for In-Building Applications Need antenna solutions for your in-building wireless network? Larsen Antennas offers a complete line of antennas for Wi-Fi and Wi-Max applications, providing in-building solutions for WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), Hotspots and reliable coverage of cellular and PCS networks. WLAN and Wi-Fi deployment is growing rapidly, and so is the need for advanced technologies. In response to these demands, Larsen developed antenna solutions covering 802.11 a/b/g as well as 4.9 and 5.9 GHz. Larsen antennas deliver superior electrical performance through efficient signal coverage. Larsen covers virtually every wireless requirement from the router to complete indoor coverage. WLANs transmit and receive data over the air, minimizing the need for wired connections. Larsen provides in-building solutions for most markets including health-care, retail, manufacturing, warehousing, convention and academic arenas. PUBLIC SAFETY Wireless data is also finding it’s way into the mobile environment, driven in part by local municipalities and homeland security. Many cities are choosing to use IP-based technology in potentially vulnerable areas. For example, cities are installing digital cameras with wireless feeds to monitor traffic lights, public buildings, sports venues and other large public gathering areas where effective visibility is needed if police are called into action. With broadband wireless access, a patrol vehicle’s mobile data computer (MDC) can be updated with current department files as well as live video feeds. Larsen offers a full line of both mobile and fixed antennas for a complete WLAN solution. Larsen provides superior antenna solutions for In-Building Applications. MULTI-BAND SOLUTIONS Since the rollout of 4.9 GHz band for public safety networks, Larsen has responded to the needs of the public safety market by developing new multiband antennas covering the 2.4 - 2.5 GHz and 4.9 - 5.9 GHz bandwidths. This unique line of “dual/wide band” products is designed to offer a complete indoor coverage solution. COMPANY BACKGROUND Larsen was founded in 1965 as Larsen Electronics Inc. In 2006 Larsen was acquired by Pulse, the electronic components segment of Technitrol. Pulse, headquartered in San Diego, is a worldwide leader in electronic component and subassembly design and maufacturing. Pulse is also a leading provider of antennas and antenna modules for mobile handsets and wireless devices. Larsen is an ISO9001;2000 certified production operation, with the capacity to produce millions of antennas worldwide annually. ISO 9001 Approved LB501.C (09/08) 1000 Larsen Antenna Solutions for In-Building Applications Dual/Wide Band Antennas Larsen has developed a unique line of products with “dual/wide band” capabilities. These products are designed to cover 802.11a, b and g, as well as the 4.9 and 5.9 GHz bands. Larsen antennas deliver superior electrical performance through efficient signal coverage and are available in several form factors: omni ceiling mount, bi-directional ceiling mount, swivel mount dipoles and mast/wall mount directional patch antennas. Yagis Radome Omnis Omni Ceiling Mount Antennas Omni ceiling mount antennas leverage patented wire-patch technology which delivers excellent performance in a small form factor. It is an excellent choice for indoor coverage applications where an inconspicuous antenna is needed. Frequency ranges for Larsen ceiling mount antennas include 2.4 -2.5 GHz, 5.1 - 5.8 GHz and a “dual/wide band” covering 2.4 and 4.9 - 5.9 GHz. Larsen also offers a pentaband omni ceiling covering 806 - 960 and 1710 - 2170 MHz for superior indoor coverage for SMR, Cellular and PCS networks. Bi-directional Ceiling Mount Bi-Directional Ceiling Mount Antennas Bi-directional ceiling mount antennas are the ideal solution for indoor applications requiring coverage for long hallways and corridors. They are perfect for convention halls, hotel corridors and office building hallways which can be challenging to cover with the typical omni antenna. Using an efficient monopole array design for the single band (2.4 - 2.5 GHz) and advanced wide band (2.4 - 2.5 / 4.9 - 5.9 GHz) design, Larsen produces products designed to provide superior coverage in this unique application. Directional Patch Stealth Blades Dual Wide Band Omni Ceiling Directional patch antennas are designed to improve indoor communications in locations traditionally having poor reception. This antenna has been designed to provide “sector”type performance in a small, economical package. The antenna may be mounted flat to a wall, in a corner or on a mast. Frequency ranges include 2.4 - 2.5 GHz, 5.1 - 5.8 GHz and a 2.4 - 2.5 / 4.9 - 5.9 GHz multi band. Radome Omni Antennas Larsen offers a family of high quality omni antenna products. Radome omnis feature a center-fed collinear dipole design assuring peak gain stability across the frequency band. They are a ground plane independent design enclosed in a UV-protected polyester/fiberglass radome. The radome is designed for indoor or outdoor operation. Pentaband Omni Ceiling Radome omnis are available in several frequency ranges (from 2.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz) with gains from 6 dBi to 10 dBi. Most radome omnis are available with an N Male or N Female connector option. Panel Antennas Larsen offers a variety of panel antennas for indoor and outdoor use. They have an excellent front-to-back ratio and are designed with precision-cut radiating elements. These panels cover frequencies from 1850 MHz to 5.9 GHz. They include versatile mounting hardware for pole or wall mounting. Directional Panels Dipole Antennas Omni Ceilings Larsen also offers a dual band swivel mount dipole covering 2.4 - 2.5 GHz as well as 4.9 - 5.9 GHz frequency bands. A new pentaband version covers 806-960 / 1710-2270 MHzThis unique antenna is ideal for router or access point applications. Yagi (Scada) Antennas Larsen Yagi antennas are designed with strengthened aluminum alloys to assure long life and best performance for the most demanding applications. Available frequencies range from 406 MHz to 960 MHz. 90º Corner Mount Units are fully welded and completely weatherized for continuous operation in the most extreme weather conditions. Solid aluminum elements provide superior signal radiation and broad bandwidth capabilities. Convenient “U” bolt mounting makes installation easy. Stealth Blade Antennas Radome Omnis NOTE: Antennas are not to scale. Swivel Mount Dipole Larsen offers a super slim and highly economical blade antenna for temporary or discreet applications. The stealth blade antenna utilizes printed circuit technology to provide superior impedance bandwidth. The ultra slim design allows it to be mounted virtually anywhere without obstruction. Stealth blades are available in UHF, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz and a multi band option covering SMR/Cellular/PCS.
