From live sound to playback and monitoring, corporate events and broadcast studios. Though remarkably compact and lightweight, the TT08-A offers an incredible maximum sound pressure level of 128dB, making it suitable for use as either a single, primary loudspeaker or within multicabinet horizontal and vertical arrays. Its performance efficiency is almost 3dB higher than many larger 10” speaker systems and indeed comparable to many 12” systems. Applications include AV presentations; small- to medium-sized main sound reinforcement systems; fill, delay, and effects systems; under-balcony coverage; and distributed systems The TT08-A low-mid frequency section employs an 8-inch neodymium magnet cone driver, while the high-frequency section utilizes an efficient 1-inch exit, 44mm diaphragm compression driver. Each transducer has been specifically designed for the application. The woofer provides large excursion and very light weight. The voice coil is a 64 mm design, best compromise between power handling and low mass. The compression driver features a new pure titanium dome. Special ribs on the dome provides maximum flatness and extension in very high frequencies. The TT08-A on-board amplifier features 750 watt switching power supply module, 500 watt low frequency digital amplifier module, 250 watt high frequency digital amplifier module extra capacitor bus able to sustain the voltage for 100 ms burst signals. The total available power supply power is 750 watts and can be distributed to the 2 final amplifier sections. Each amplifier section has a very high maximum output power capability in order to provide, when necessary, maximum output bursts in a specific frequency range. The input section provides In/Out XLR connectors, system sensitivity control, side to side or floor coupling correction switch, 4 status LEDs. The high quality analog input board provides linear phase crossovers, system equalization, fast limiter, RMS limiter and configuration control. The AC panel features In/Out Powercon connectors, On/Off switch. The cabinet is in marine baltic birch plywood, coated with high resistance epoxy paint. The mechanical suspension and orientation is very easy thanks to two 3-points fly tracks. The cabinets features a steel pole mount cap and two different angles for near field or long field monitoring.
