Installing the 0.75:1 lens These instructions outline the details for the installation of the 0.75:1 Front Projection Lens (P/N 125-105107-xx) and the safety cables that accompany it. These cables are necessary because this lens has a much higher mass than a typical lens. This lens is supported for these Matrix StIM projector models: 125-001102-xx, 125-001113-xx, and 125-001124-xx.
Kit includes •

•
Washers Lock, qty. 4
•

Installation Caution! Failure to comply with the following could result in minor or moderate injury. • Before you begin, ensure that the projector is securely mounted and cannot move. The 0.75:1 lens is much heavier than other typical lenses and could potentially tip over an unmounted projector, causing injury.
1. Remove the rear lens cap from the lens. Keep the front lens cap on the lens.

6. Fully insert the assembly straight into the lens mount opening without turning and press with your hand to engage the magnetic lock. Caution! Failure to comply with the following could result in minor or moderate injury. • Ensure the lens is not inserted at an angle as this can cause damage. • This lens is much heavier than a typical projection lens, and the magnetic lock is not sufficient by itself to secure the lens. If the lens falls, it could result in injury.
7. Rotate the lens clamp to the closed position. 8. Attach the safety cable to the lens. Notice. Failure to comply with the following may result in property damage. • Security screws must be installed.
a. Align the O-ring bar parallel to the side of the lens and place it over the security screw hole. b. Place a washer over the hole, and fasten the security screw through the O-ring. c. Position the O-ring at the other end of the cable at the lower mounting point, position a washer over the hole, and fasten the screw through the O-ring.
