Solid Water® is an industry standard that Gammex RMI® introduced 15 years ago to simplify radiation beam measurements. The material is designed for photon, electron or gamma ray applications. It eliminates the inconvenience of transporting, setting up and filling water tanks. Ultrasound
Gammex RMI® offers tissue mimicking phantoms using the latest patented gel technology. The phantoms are designed 405GSX LE to maintain Ultrasound Phantom the accuracy and consistency of ultrasound scanning equipment. Image quality indicators measure the performance characteristics that affect the diagnostic value of the ultrasound image. Our phantoms may be used to measure depth of penetration, vertical and horizontal distance accuracy, image uniformity, axial and lateral resolution and the system’s ability to accurately display negative contrast objects and differentiate between different contrast densities.

Computed Tomography (CT) has become a widely used and accepted means of medical imaging today. Gammex RMI® recognizes its importance in patient diagnosis as well as radiation therapy treatment planning. Therefore, Gammex RMI® has developed quality assurance phantoms, most notably the new ACR Accreditation Phantom designed to assess overall image quality. Other products including our Model 467 Electron Density CT Phantom and the Model A3000A CT Sim Laser Tracking System which interface with all RTP software systems on the market and have become integral components of the treatment planning process.
