MOBILE 3D PRINTER APIS COR
Original device is a rotating telescopic manipulator crane 4–8,5 m long and 1,5 m high. Weight — 2,0 tons. By staying in one place 3D printer APIS COR can print concrete walls layer by layer.
WHAT MAKES APIS COR PRINTER DIFFERENT The main difference of our device from other known construction printers is that APIS COR printer makes buildings while remaining inside the constructed structure. Printer has small dimensions so it can easily be transported and doesn’t require long preparation for the construction works to begin. All preliminary preparations take no longer than 30 minutes. With 3D printer any house design can be brought to life. Another advantage is the lack of construction waste.
4–8,5 m
FOR CONSTRUCTION WE USE: 1. Mobile 3D printer APIS COR with unique software control, 2. Concrete pump with automatic mixing and delivery system,
1,5–3,1 m
3. Silo for storing and transporting dry construction mixture.

8 KW of power consumed by operating printer
Printer has compact dimensions of 5,5×1,5×1,6 m. Weighs 2,0 tons — like a common SUV. These factors make it very convenient for transportation.
This is as much power as is needed for 5 electrical teapots working simultaneously.
192 m2 printing zone Printer itself is a rotating manipulator arm that is capable of covering the area from a single point, limited by the size of extendable arm. To increase the printing zone it’s sufficient to simply move the printer from one point and start construction in the other.
Automatic horizontal stabilization Gyroscope and laser rangefinder are used for extrusion head position tracking, PID controller is used for spatial stabilization
30 minutes required for installation and set-up Thanks to the stabilization system implemented as two active counterweights it’s possible to install the printer without attaching in on any surface with no need for preliminary site preparation. All preparations basically include providing power source for the printer and attaching it to printing mixture supply line: concrete, geopolymer, fiber concrete.
0 kg construction waste Printer constructs a building with fiber concrete or geopolymer. Mixture is supplied in preset doses and with precise timing. Machine prints layer by layer and doesn’t leave any excess waste that would require cleanup.

CONCRETE PUMP
Dry construction mixtures, which are delivered to the concrete pump are mixed with a certain amount of water and then are pumped to the printer as a homogenous mix.
AUTOMATED MIXING AND PUMP SYSTEM With automated mixing and pump system process of printing in executed with machine precision. Precalculated and stable proportions of components allows to produce a construction mixture with guaranteed quality.
Efficient mixing Our mixing system allows an excellent mixture quality. It handles big volumes of material with ease, providing an optimal flow speed and supply proportions of printing mixture.
Ease of use The mixer is extremely easy to use. It has a handy panel with comprehensive indication and logical error code display.
Increased durability Combination of plated and polyurethane components greatly increases mixer durability in comparison with other commercially available models.
Fast cleaning Mixer structure includes polyurethane components which, unlike metallic ones, allow to avoid caking of mixture. By reducing the amount of sediment on mixer surfaces cleaning procedures require less time and effort.
3
MOBILE SILO
Silo is used for storage and transport of dry construction mixtures in big volumes.
Attention! Silo is not included in our equipment set. We haven’t included the silo in delivery set for two reasons: 1. Construction companies may already have their own silo, so an included silo can unreasonably increase the price. 2. As the silos are available in different types and sizes, buyers can choose one that fits their needs. If you are not sure what silo to choose, we can advise you on selecting appropriate equipment.
HOW DO WE SAVE UP COSTS General costs economy per project totals up to 40% in comparison with a regular concrete building. We offer a pricing per square meter which none of the quality housing construction companies can provide.
Building frame construction — 25%
Logistics — 20-30%
Machine builds a retained framework for a ferroconcrete base, self bearing walls and partitions. With ferroconcrete as its core the building has all the engineering calculations methods readily available.
By reducing a considerable amount of additional work there is no need for extra tools and materials. 3D printing technology lowers general material consumption of construction.
Outer and inner finishing — 60%
Roofing — 10%
COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARDS Machine builds a retained framework for a ferroconcrete base, self bearing walls and partitions. With ferroconcrete as its core the building has all the engineering calculations methods readily available.
We have conducted a series of tests to make sure that results of our work are in compliance with existing certificate standards in construction industry.
Printer prints walls with machine precision and makes them even and smooth. Roughing stage can be skipped straight to final finishing.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Foundation works — 15% Printer prints a retained framework for foundation, in which reinforcing armatures are installed and heavy concrete is poured in.
Services — 20% We plan the layout of electrical junctions, engineering systems and nodes within the house in advance. Then we upload the project in the software and get a ready blueprint for laying down inner services.
What material is used for printing? For printing process we use a standard mixture of sand and concrete with addition of polypropylene fiber and dehydrating agent. We also research a possibility of using geopolymer materials.
Do you need to hard fix the printer to the ground or other structures to print? No. Printer includes a stabilization system which uses two active counterweights. When the printer arm extends in one direction, counterweights move in other direction, keeping the center of gravity at the rotational axis.
Printer can construct walls only? Or can it work with foundation too?
What is the thickness of a single layer and can it be altered?
3D printer can print a retained framework in which armatures and additional connectors are installed, thus making a foundation construction mush easier.
We are printing 2,5×2,5 cm layers. But this can be freely changed using different extrusion nozzles.
Can you print on even surface only?
Can the printed walls be insulated?
Printer includes a special laser system which tracks the surface level so there is no need to even the ground before printing.
Is there a need to level the printer horizontally? No. The printer has an automatic stabilization system. Every hydraulic cylinder is attached to a separate pump with servo control. Positioning precision – 0.1 mm. Equipment automatically stabilizes horizontally using a precision inclinometer and PID controller.
Printed walls are insulated in the same way as the ones constructed using foam concrete blocks. Even without using additional insulation walls have optimal thermal properties due to their multi-chambered structure.
Can our equipment cut construction costs without affecting the quality? 3D printing technology allows to save overall construction costs by 30-40%. As we are lowering the price by automating the construction process and minimizing the human error we can guarantee the quality.
How to move the printer out of the house when construction is finished? It’s very simple. When not operating the printer is only 1000 mm wide. It can be removed through the door frame using a common pallet truck or be lifted through the roof before installing floors.
How to print a second floor?
