Introduction (1) This manual provides service information for the 3455. See Section 2, “Units List” for the units lineup. (2) For details of operating procedures, performance and specifications, refer to the instruction manual accompanying the instrument. (3) This product uses electrical devices. These devices are very sensitive to static electricity, and service work must therefore always be performed with electrical equipment and the workbench grounded. The worker should be grounded through a 1 MΩ resistance, using a wristband, to prevent shock caused by leakage from electrical equipment. (4) When applying voltages to diagnose the product, take care to avoid shocks. (5) Check solder joints before performing repair work. (6) When a failure requires that electrical parts be replaced, replace with equivalent parts after checking their specifications. (7) When ordering spare parts, specify the product name, product serial number, part code, part name, part number, and manufacturing part number. (Note) Depending upon quantity and the type of part, delivery may take some time. (8) Some of parts are not supplied alone. This applies to the following : • Connection Part Unit • Other set parts (9) When ordering a unit, specify the unit name and the unit code No. (Example) Unit name : 3455 Power Supply Circuit Board Unit Unit Code No. : 50000903

3.3 Requirement Calibration requires the following ambient conditions: • Temperature : 23°C ± 5°C • Humidity : 70% RH or less • Power supply : Use Direct current stabilization power supply. (Power supply voltage 7.0 V ± 0.1 V), The slide switch is LR6 side. Be careful of the following point. -1. Don't do adjustment and calibration in the condition where the shutter is damaging. -2. Don't touch a print circuit board with your bare hand. -3. Don't touch the surface of the case( the surroundings of the ± terminal of 3455) with your bare hand. Wipe it out if the surface of the case is dirty. (It is to prevent leakage current
from occurring on the surface of the case.)
-4. Don't move your body greatly near the resistor jig 1 TΩ while you measure 4 TΩ by the thing during the measurement and the inspection when you adjust it. -5. Don't move test lead while you measure insulation resistance and leakage current. -6. Don't touch the part of the insulation material of the terminal of the resistance box jig with your bare hand. -7. Don't forget the connection of the GUARD terminal. ________________________________________________________________________________________
