TouchBright Illumination System (X6) offers up to 5 excitation wavelengths. UV, blue, green, red and amber are basic colors but
changeable to other colors for the fluorescence imaging and the white LED transmission illumination. Able to deliver 5 wavelength-LED light sources
to the microscope by a single liquid light guide
TouchBright illumination system (X6)
Full chip LED illumination (3x3 mm) for each wavelength with a single fiber optic guide extensively supports users to gather the full brightness for each wavelength excitation. External white LED can be substituted for the halogen lamp. Designed to rotate five colors of the ultra-high power LED modules with a single fiber optic guide for the excitation of all wavelengths No requirement to use optic filters to gain the intense light Changing into the different wavelengths of LEDs, not required to attach the external optic filter devices or lenses to converge LED lights to the optic guide, which is simple to perform and cost-effective Using the multiple lights simultaneously for a special purpose, TouchBright TMC can be combined with X6, which contains a combiner, collimators, and dichroic mirrors.(refer to page 6)

TouchBright illumination system can be used with all microscopes with a common software package (e.g. TTL, Nikon-NIS, Metamorph and Micromanager).

Through the active cooling system, the LED can provide the brightest and maximized illumination consistently while it minimizes the wavelength shift. Consistent and stable transmitted light intensity reduces and minimizes the error of the fluorescence images during bio-imaging experiments.

The TouchBright T1 basically consists of a controller, a touchscreen control pad, and a light guide which is compatible with all types of the microscope. There are three types of light guides: 1. Straight type: - Point illuminated area used
- Several sizes of inner diameter of the glass fiber depend on LED chip size. 2. Gooseneck type: - Spot-on illumination used - Desired directions available with a metallic spring tube - One-arm/ two-arm version available 3. Ring type: - Attachable to the stereomicroscope objective or the CCD camera directly The TouchBright T1 can be supplied with any color of the wavelength listed.
- White LED: 50W or 100W LED (Electric power consumption) - Light strength: conveniently adjustable by the touchscreen control pad with a common software package (e.g. Metamorph or Micromanager)
