Dry Chemical Type: Stainless steel tank, with pressure gage. 1. 2. 3.
Class 2A10: B:C. Size 5 pound. Size and classification as approved by local Fire Authorities. Verify prior to installation.
2.03 FIRE EXTINGUISHER CABINETS A.
Metal: Formed primed steel sheet; 0.036 inch thick base metal.
B.
Cabinet Configuration: Surface type at masonry walls; where mounted on frame wall with sufficient depth, provide semi-recessed type with trim returned to wall. Wall brackets only in service areas. 1.
Form cabinet enclosure with right angle inside corners and seams. Form perimeter trim and door stiles.
C.
Door: 0.036 inch thick, reinforced for flatness and rigidity; latch. Hinge doors for 180 degree opening with two butt hinge. Provide nylon catch.
D.
Door Glazing: Glass, clear, 1/8 inch thick float. Set in resilient channel gasket glazing.
E.
Cabinet Mounting Hardware: Appropriate to cabinet. Pre-drill for anchors.
F.
Weld, fill, and grind components smooth.
G.
Finish of Cabinet Exterior Trim and Door: Primed for field paint finish.
H.
Finish of Cabinet Interior: White enamel.

Extinguisher Brackets: Formed steel, chrome-plated.
3.00 EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION A.
Verify existing conditions before starting work.

Verify rough openings for cabinet are correctly sized and located.
3.02 INSTALLATION A.
Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B.
Install cabinets plumb and level in wall openings, 54 inches from finished floor to top of cabinet (or extinguisher at wall bracket mount).

Corridors: Placed 75 feet apart maximum. Semi-recessed mounting. Verify locations with local Fire Jurisdiction before framing corridors for cabinets.
