PLAYING ORDER PROGRAMMED TRACK - PRESS "PROG" BUTTON (15) FOLLOWED (WITHIN 3 SECONDS) BY "CD PLAY" BUTTON (24) TO START PLAYING THE PROGRAMMED SEQUENCE OF TRACKS. IMPORTANT: IF NO BUTTON IS PRESSED FOR 5 SECONDS DURING PROGRAM MODE THE DISPLAY GOES BACK TO "CLOCK" MODE. HOWEVER, YOUR PROGRAM HAS ALREADY BEEN SAVED & YOU CAN CONTINUE PROGRAMING BY PRESSING "PROG" REPEATEDLY UNTIL THE LAST PROGRAMMED TRACK IS DISPLAYED, OR YOU CAN PLAYBACK THE STORED PROGRAM BY PRESSING "PROG" BUTTON, FOLLOWED (WITHIN 3 SECONDS) BY "PLAY" BUTTON. NOTE: TO DELETE A SAVED PROGRAM, PRESS "PROG" FOLLOWED (WITHIN 3 SECONDS) BY "CD STOP" (23) BUTTON. TO CANCEL PROGRAM PLAY PRESS "CD STOP" (23), “PROG” DISAPPEARS IN THE DISPLAY. TO CHANGE THE CURRENT PROGRAM PRESS STOP ONCE IF THE CD IS STOPPED AND TWICE IF THE CD IS PLAYING. THE CURRENT PROGRAM WILL BE ERASED. THEN CREATE A NEW PROGRAM FOLLOWING THE PROGRAMING PROCEDURE. E-6 PLAYING THE RADIO - PRESS ALARM OFF/POWER BUTTON AND "RADIO/ BAND" (23) BUTTON TO TURN ON THE RADIO. THE "AM/FM" INDICATION WILL LIGHT UP. - ADJUST VOLUME. - PRESS "RADIO/ BAND" BUTTON TO SELECT THE BAND. - TUNE IN A STATION USING THE TUNING DIAL, THE STATION IS SHOWN ON THE DIGITAL DISPLAY. • TO TURN OFF THE RADIO, PRESS ALARM OFF/POWER. NOTE: THE DISPLAY REVERTS TO "CLOCK" MODE 5 SECONDS AFTER YOU STOP ROTATING THE TUNING KNOB. IMPROVING THE RECEPTION FM: EXTEND THE FM WIRE ANTENNA TO IMPROVE RECEPTION. AM: ROTATE THE UNIT HORIZONTALLY FOR OPTIMUM RECEPTION. A FERRITE BAR ANTENNA IS BUILT INTO THE UNIT. DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT OVER A STEEL DESK OR METAL SURFACE, AS THIS MAY LEAD TO INTERFERENCE OF RECEPTION. SETTING THE ALARM THIS CLOCK RADIO IS EQUIPPED WITH 3 ALARM MODES-CD, RADIO AND BUZZER. BEFORE SETTING THE ALARM, MAKE SURE TO SET THE CLOCK (SEE "SETTING THE CLOCK"). THIS UNIT IS ALSO EQUIPPED WITH A DUAL ALARM FUNCTION. YOU CAN SET THE ALARM FOR TWO DIFFERENT TIMES (ALARM-1 AND ALARM-2). TO SET THE "BUZZER ALARM" 1. PRESS ALARM 1 (14) OR ALARM 2 (16) FOR A FEW SECONDS. TO SET THE HOUR RAPIDLY, HOLD DOWN NEXT OR BACK. 3. PRESS ALARM (14 OR 16). THE MINUTE WILL FLASH. 4. REPEAT STEP 2 TO SET THE MINUTE AND PRESS ALARM (14 OR 16) . 5. WHEN “BU --” FLASHES IN THE DISPLAY, PRESS ALARM (14 OR 16) AGAIN TO CONFIRM. ("BU" MEANS "BUZZER ALARM"). TO SET THE "CD ALARM" REPEAT STEPS 1 TO 5 TO SET THE ALARM TIME. AFTER “BU --” FLASHES ON THE DISPLAY, PRESS "CD PLAY" (24), THE “CD 01” FLASHES ON THE DISPLAY. PRESS NEXT OR BACK TO SELECT THE DESIRED WAKE-UP TRACK NUMBER AND PRESS ALARM (14 OR 16) AGAIN. THE WAKE-UP TRACK NUMBER CAN BE SET UP TO 99. ITS DEFAULT VALUE IS "01". FOR THE CD ALARM, THE TRACK YOU SPECIFIED AS THE WAKE-UP TRACK IS PLAYED FIRST. REMEMBER TO SET THE CORRECT VOLUME LEVEL. E-7 TO SET THE RADIO ALARM REPEAT STEPS 1 TO 5 TO SET THE ALARM. AFTER “BU --” FLASHES ON THE DISPLAY, PRESS "RADIO BAND" BUTTON (23), THE “F- A-” FLASHES ON THE DISPLAY. PRESS ALARM (14 OR 16) AGAIN. THE ALARM 1 OR ALARM 2 INDICATOR LIGHTS UP. REMEMBER TO TUNE IN THE DESIRED STATION & SET THE CORRECT VOLUME LEVEL. TO CHECK THE ALARM TIME PRESS ALARM 1 (14) OR ALARM 2 (16). THE DISPLAY SHOWS THE ALARM TIME. IF YOU PRESS ALARM 1 OR ALARM 2 AGAIN, THE INDICATION CHANGES TO THE WAKE-UP TRACK NUMBER . AFTER A FEW SECONDS, THE DISPLAY RETURNS TO THE CURRENT TIME. IMPORTANT: FOR THE "CD ALARM", THE TRACK YOU SPECIFIED AS THE WAKE-UP TRACK IS PLAYED FIRST. IF YOU SET THE CD ALARM WHEN THERE IS NO DISC IN THE CD PLAYER OR THE CD COMPARTMENT LID IS OPEN, THE BUZZER ALARM WILL SOUND AT THE SET TIME. FOR THE RADIO ALARM, THE STATION THAT THE TUNING DIAL IS SET TO WILL BE RECEIVED. FOR THE BUZZER ALARM, THE BEEPING OF THE ALARM BECOMES MORE RAPID AFTER EVERY FEW SECONDS IN THREE PROGRESSIVE STAGES. NOTE WHEN ALARM 1 AND ALARM 2 ARE SET WITH THE EXACT SAME ALARM TIME, ONLY ALARM 1 WILL BE EFFECTIVE. TO DOZE FOR A FEW MORE MINUTES PRESS SNOOZE. THE CD, RADIO OR BUZZER ALARM TURNS OFF BUT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED AGAIN AFTER ABOUT 6 MINUTES. WHEN YOU PRESS SNOOZE AFTER THE CURRENT TIME APPEARS, THE SNOOZE TIME STARTS FROM 6 MINUTES AGAIN. • THE MAXIMUM LENGTH OF THE SNOOZE TIME IS 60 MINUTES. ALARM DURATION: THE ALARM IS TURNED OFF AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 60 MINUTES. TO STOP THE ALARM PRESS ALARM OFF/POWER (12) TO TURN OFF THE ALARM. THE ALARM WILL COME ON AGAIN AT THE SAME TIME THE NEXT DAY TO DEACTIVATE THE ALARM PRESS ALARM 1 (14) OR ALARM 2 (16) THREE TIMES RAPIDLY, THE ALARM 1 OR ALARM 2 INDICATOR WILL GO OFF.
