APS-C 12 Mega Pixel RAW CMOS Image Sensor --For SLR Camera Market The SP8AC08 is SuperPix®’s 12-megapixel color image sensor with high dynamic range operation for SLR Camera, and also is the first homebred 12-megapixel sensor. It is a high performance APS-C image sensor based on an advanced 6um pixel architecture. The SP8AC08 is a high cost-performance image sensor product that can be embedded in digital SLR camera and camcorder. The SP8AC08 consists of 4264 x 2844 effective pixels and low power analog circuits (ASP). The advanced image processing technology of the SP8AC08 provides a remarkable way to enhance the image sensor performance. SP8AC08 supports frame rate up to 4fps in full resolution mode, which can contribute the high image quality for users. In sub sample mode SP8AC08 can output 1/4 RAW data, 1/6 RAW data, 1/8 RAW data, and 1/12 RAW data. Vertical Fixed Pattern Noise eliminating and ‘cross-talk’ decline also are built in SP8AC08. High Sensitivity, High SNR, and Low dark current are the highlight features of the SP8AC08.
