General Description

The 12VM-DA+ (“PLUS” model) touring edition distribution amplifier is Clair Brothers solution for stage distribution of synchronous teleprompter signals. 12VM-DA+ provides power and video distribution output for up to four 12VM-M+ teleprompters.

Designed for critical professional applications, the 12VM-DA+ includes a high performance SD/HD-SDI video scaler which transmits via RG-6 Coax cable with BNC connectors. The housing is a rugged aluminum enclosure with a hinged lid for easy access to circuit protection and video scaling devices. The 12VM-DA+ is shipped standard with portable handles, and is optionally available with a 2RU rack mount kit. All 12VM-M teleprompter systems can be custom packaged in Clair Brothers shock mounted flipper door racks for maximum efficiency and durability. Contact Clair Brothers for details.

ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER SPECIFICATIONS The teleprompter / stage video monitor distribution amplifier enclosure shall be constructed of black anodized aluminum, and side panels shall be constructed of black UHMW. Enclosure shall feature a hinged lid and an internal cooling fan. Dimensions shall be 3.34 in. high, 16.0 in. wide, and 12.5 in. deep. The 12VM-DA+ weight shall be |TBD|lbs. The distribution amplifier shall accept a single DVI-D video input and shall convert and distribute to four outputs for stage distribution. Internal power distribution and circuit protection shall allow up to four 12VM-M+/12VM-i+ stage video monitors to be directly connected in accordance with UL489 standards. The video distribution shall be provided via coaxial cable. The teleprompter / stage video monitor distribution amplifier shall be the Clair Brothers 12VM-DA+ model.
