Extension Cords
Some chemicals or detergents may be harmful if inhaled or ingested, causing severe nausea, fainting or poisoning. The harmful elements may cause property damage or severe injury.
We Do Not recommend the use of extension cords with this device. If it is necessary to use one, however, then you must use only extension cords that are approved for outside use. These extension cords are identified by a marking ACCEPTABLE FOR USE WITH OUTDOOR APPLIANCES. Also observe the following specifications:
Keep water spray away from electric wiring or fatal electric shock may result. High pressure stream of water that this equipment produces can pierce skin and its underlying tissues, leading to serious injury and possible amputation.
Cable Length: Up to 25 feet (8m) 50 feet (15m)
High pressure spray can cause particles to become airborne and fly at high speeds.
Wire Gauge: 14 AWG 12 AWG
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter Protection
Inspect hose each time before using it. Water spraying from a leak is capable of injecting material into skin. Check all hoses for cuts, leaks, abrasions or bulging of cover, or damage or movement of couplings. If any of these conditions exist, replace hose immediately. Never repair high pressure hose. Replace it with another hose that exceeds maximum pressure rating of your pressure washer.
To provide protection from the risk of electrical shock, this electric pressure washer is equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Read the instructions on the plug for use or see Before Starting Pressure Washer on page 8. The GFCI device will disconnect both power conductors to the load circuit in the event of an interruption in either or both supply circuit power conductors. If power is interrupted in the line, the GFCI provides protection even if neutral is also grounded at the load.
Never move the machine by pulling on the high pressure hose. Use the handle provided on the cart or top of the unit. Keep the hose connected to machine and the spray gun while the system is pressurized. Disconnecting the hose while the unit is pressurized is dangerous.
IMPORTANT: The GFCI device will not automatically reconnect the circuit to the load after power is restored. After correcting any shorting problem, you must manually press the reset button to restore power to the pressure washer.
Never aim spray gun at people, animals or plants. High pressure spray may damage fragile items including glass. Do Not point spray gun at glass when in the high pressure mode.
Servicing of a DoubleInsulated Appliance
Hold the spray gun firmly in your hand when you use unit. Failure to do so could result in an injury from a whipping spray gun.
In a double-insulated product, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated product, nor should a means for grounding be added to the product.
Operate and store this unit on a stable surface. Know how to stop the product and bleed the pressure quickly. Be thoroughly familiar with controls.
Servicing a double-insulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated product must be identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated product is marked with the words Double Insulation or Double Insulated. This symbol is marked on the product.
Store in a clean, dry and frost-free room. Follow the maintenance instructions specified in the manual.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
Press the Reset button on the plugs GFCI. Press the Test button. The red indicator on the reset button should appear. Press Reset button again for use.
The warranty of the high pressure washer does not cover items that have been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To receive full value from the warranty, operator must maintain high pressure washer as instructed in this manual.
IMPORTANT: Do Not use your electric pressure washer if above test fails.
O-Ring Maintenance Your pressure washer uses o-rings to keep hose and spray gun connections tight and leak-free. Through the normal operation of your unit, these o-rings may become worn or damaged.
BEFORE EACH USE Check and Clean Quick-Connect Screen
Provided with your pressure washer is an ORing Maintenance Kit which includes replacement o-rings, rubber washer and water inlet filter. Refer to the instruction sheet provided in the kit to service your units o-rings. Note that not all of the parts in the kit will be used on your unit.
Remove quick-connect and examine inlet screen on the female connector. Clean if it is clogged or replace if it is damaged in any way.
Check High Pressure Hose
Parts in the ORing Kit include: ORing (Light Blue), p/n B2688, for the male accessory connections of the power foamer and utility brush (Figure 11).
High pressure hose can develop leaks from wear, kinking, abuse. Inspect hose each time before using it. Check for cuts, leaks, abrasions or bulging of cover, or damage or movement of couplings. If any of these conditions exist, replace hose immediately.
Figure 11 - O-Ring for Male Accessory Connections of Power Foamer and Utility Brush
DANGER! Water spraying from a leak is capable of injecting material into skin. Never repair a high pressure hose. Replace a bad hose with a hose that exceeds the maximum pressure rating of your pressure washer.
Check Spray Gun and Wand Examine hose connection to spray gun and make sure it is secure. Test trigger by pressing it and making sure it springs back into place when you release it. Put safety latch in ON position and test trigger. You should not be able to press trigger.

STORAGE Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of time. Sediments of minerals can deposit on pump parts and freeze pump action. After each time you are finished using your pressure washer, follow this procedure: Switch the Master ON/OFF switch to OFF, unplug it, then remove all the hoses.
Water Inlet Screen (p/n B2384) for the garden hose connector (Figure 15).
Coil the high pressure hose and inspect it for damage. Cuts in the hose or fraying of it could result in leaks and loss of pressure. Should any damage be found, replace the hose. Do Not attempt to repair a damaged hose.
Figure 15 - Water Inlet Screen for Inside Garden Hose Connector
Wipe off and coil your GFCI power cord. Drain water from hose and properly store it to prevent cuts and general wear. Store the pressure washer and its components in an area which will be above freezing temperatures. Store in a clean, dry, frost-free room.
