PSX-42 Presentation Switcher – 4 Input, 2 Output VGA/XGA, S-Video, Composite Video, Audio Switcher with Mic/Line Input & Output FEATURES The PSX-42 is a high quality multimedia Presentation Matrix Switcher
• Three 4 x 2 video matrix switchers (VGA/XGA, S-Video and Composite Video)
incorporating three matrix switchers housed in a 1RU rack mountable
• VGA/XGA Bandwidth of 350MHz
metal enclosure. It is suitable for an extensive range of environments
• S-Video and Composite Video Bandwidth of 100MHz
such as in the classroom, presentation room, board room or training room
• Capable of switching NTSC, PAL, SECAM and VGA derivatives
due to the many possibilities that the unit offers. Features include a 4 x 2 VGA/XGA Switcher, a 4 x 2 S-Video Switcher, and a 4 x 2 Composite Video Switcher. Additionally, the unit also features an extensive range of audio facilities; a 12 x 2 Stereo Audio Switcher that functions independently from the video switchers (and offers balanced/unbalanced outputs), and an auxiliary or Microphone (48V Phantom Power) input that can be mixed into the 2 main audio outputs and has a selectable VOX mute function. The PSX-42 can be controlled manually or via an RS-232/485 port, and can be daisy-chained with other M.E. Design products due to the RS-232 Loop that is provided with the unit. Up to 32 M.E. Design products may be controlled by one serial port with this method.
