Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may become hazardous when used on another tool.
7.
Pay attention to air requirements of this tool. Do not exceed maximum air pressure of 120 PSI for this tool. The recommended air pressure setting is 90 PSI. Use clean, dry, regulated compressed air only. Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide, combustible gasses, or any other bottled gasses as a power source for this tool.
8.
Never load Brads with the air supply still connected.
9.
Fire Brads into appropriate work surfaces only. Do not attempt to use Brads on surfaces that are too hard for this tool to penetrate. Do not fire more than once in the same spot or drive Brads on top of other Brads. Do not fire Brads at too slight an angle, since they can ricochet causing property damage or personal injury. Never fire the Brad Nailer into the air, towards yourself, or at another person.

Testing the Single Sequential Safety Trip Mechanism For greater safety and ease of operation, the Brad Nailer should only fire one time when both the Trigger (43) is pulled and Driver Guide (51) is depressed. To test this function: 1.
Disconnect the Brad Nailer from the air supply.
2.
Empty all Brads out of the Magazine Assembly (73).
3.
Ensure that the Trigger (43) and Driver Guide (51) move freely, without sticking.
Caution Always point the Brad Nailer at a piece of scrap material when testing. 4.
The Brad Nailer should not fire if the Driver Guide is not depressed against the workpiece.
5.
Connect the air supply to the Air Inlet (72) and set the regulator at 90 PSI.
6.
Test the Brad Nailer by depressing the Driver Guide against a piece of scrap material. The Brad Nailer should not Figure 2 fire. If it does fire, stop work immediately and have the tool reAir Inlet paired by a qualified service (72) technician.
7.
Further test the Brad Nailer by pulling the Brad Nailer back from the piece of scrap material. The Driver Guide should always return to the original position. Squeeze the Trigger (43). If the tool fires, stop work immediately and have the tool repaired by a qualified service technician.

Use of the Brad Nailer
Attach the Brad Nailer to the air supply at the Air Inlet (72). Start the compressor and set the pressure at no more than 120 PSI. To fire, place the Driver Guide (51) on the workpiece. Once the Driver Guide engages the workpiece and is depressed, pull the Trigger (43) one time. One Brad will be fired into the workpiece.
Allow the Brad Nailer to recoil from the workpiece. Pushing the Brad Nailer down hard onto the workpiece is not required, the tool will do the work. When the job is complete, disconnect the Brad Nailer from the air supply and completely empty the Magazine Assembly. Attempt to fire a Brad into a piece of scrap material to ensure that the unit is disconnected and incapable of firing any Brads. When storing, lock the Brad Nailer in a clean, dry location, safely out of the reach of children.
Clearing Jams
Caution. Always wear ANSI approved safety goggles when using or performing maintenance on the Brad Nailer. Do not allow children or bystanders in the area where the Brad Nailer is being used or worked on. 1. 2.
When a Brad gets jammed in the Brad Nailer, first disconnect the air supply, and then disengage and empty the Magazine Assembly. Attempt to fire the Brad Nailer into a piece of scrap material, to ensure it is properly disconnected and incapable of firing before beginning any work on the Brad Nailer.
3.
Using the included 3mm Hex Wrench, unscrew the three Bolts (46) that hold the Driver Guide Cover (49) in place, and remove it. This allows access to the Driver Guide (51), the area Bolts (46) where a Brad will jam most often. (See Figure 3)
4.
Use a pair of needle nose pliers (not included) to remove the jammed Brad. Make sure the Driver Guide moves freely. Replace the Driver Guide Cover and re-secure firmly with the three Figure 3 Bolts.
5. 6.
Driver Guide Cover (49)
Reload the Magazine Assembly and reconnect the air supply to the Brad Nailer. Press the Driver Guide against a piece of scrap material and test fire the Brad Nailer several times to ensure proper operation. If the Brad Nailer now works properly, continue with the operation, otherwise have the tool repaired by a qualified service technician.

INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING 1.
WARNING! Make sure that the tool is unplugged from the air supply before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.
2.
BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged air hose, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
3.
Inspect the air supply screen located in the Air Inlet (72) before each use and replace as needed. Dirt and water in the air supply screen are primary causes of pneumatic tool wear. Use a filter in the compressed air system for better performance and longer tool life. The filter must provide adequate flow capacity for the given application.
4.
Clean the external parts of the Brad Nailer with a clean cloth and mild detergent.
5.
When storing, lock the Brad Nailer in a clean, dry location, safely out of the reach of children.
6.
All maintenance, service or repairs not listed in this manual should only be completed by a qualified service technician.
