The 1810 GX can be considered one of the enhanced stand alone control unit available on the market for what concern Toxic Gas detection for industrial applications which Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Ammonia (NH3), etc… . The 1810 GX interfaces directly with Transmitter/Smart Sensor with output 0÷22mA this features permit connections to many different type of Transmitter Sensor available on market, at 2, 3 or 4 wires connections and Intrinsically Safe connection. The microprocessor single chip used, present on all 1800 range, have several advantages of application and high reliability. Through the card Dip Switches, it is possible to configure the functional parameters in order to make it able to responds to the applications required, such as: configuration of Outputs Open Collector and Relay normally de-energised or energised; latching or no-latching Relay outputs. A complete self-diagnostic, possible for the use of microprocessor, permits a control and verification components functionality on the board, activating, in case of trouble, the fault outputs. On the front panel of the card are present the redundant signalling LED’s to show the WARNING ALARM FAULT INHIBIT and READY (Watch Dog circuit) Status. The push buttons on the front panel allow the operation of Inhibit of Input Channel and Set push button to change Warning and Alarm threshold and full scale. Through two digit display is visible the measuring in “ppm” and in operating mode view and set all parameters. Available Output 0÷22mA repeater function to connect printer/data logger. Interface field connections by DIN 41612 male connector 32 pins D/Z.
