voltage can be supplied by 12VDC trigger or 12VDC power supply in a switched outlet. WHIRDH - Decora Style IR Hub Specification & Features: • Compatible with almost all standard remote controls (30KHz – 100 KHz) • Fits standard electrical device box and Decora style trim plates • Built-in amplifier drives four standard emitters or two standard and two blasters • Dimensions: 2.75”(L) x 1.3”(W) x 1.9”(D) Installation: 1. Install a standard electrical device box at the desired location for the WHIRDH Decora Style IR Hub. 2. Run a shielded three (or four)-conductor cable between the target and the hub or plug a WHIR1005 Set Top Wide-Band IR Target into the 3.5mm jack on the back of the WHIRDH. Strip approximately ¼” of insulation from the wires. Connect the wires to the corresponding labeled terminal blocks: “V+” 12VDC Power - “G” Ground - “IR” IR Signal Up to three WHIRDH IR Hubs can be connected into the system. 3. Set the DIP switch from EM ON to BL ON to support blasters, (left port is DIP 1). 4. Set the DIP switch from NET OFF to NET ON to support high data rate IR controls and allow use of up to 1000ft of shielded cable between an IR Target and the IR Hub. 5. Connect the emitters and emitter blasters to the output of the IR Hub and attach the IR LED to the IR target of the source device. The IR hub will support Wired Home single (WH1IRME), dual (WH2IRME) emitters and single blasters (WHIREB). 6. Connect a 12VDC, 1200mAH power supply (WHHCPS) to the power jack of the IR hub (WHIRDH). Only one power supply is required for up to three WHIRDH. 7. The WHIRDH will support targets equipped with status indicators. The ST OUT Installation Diagram:
