1. Insert the connector of the power adapter into the DC jack on the back of the Digital Photo Frame, and then plug the wall adapter into a standard power outlet. Switch the power switch from OFF to ON. 2. If using a memory card or USB storage device, insert them into the appropriate slots found on the back of the unit. 3. Navigate the menu of the Digital Photo Frame using either the supplied remote or the buttons found along the right backside of the unit. TIP: If the power switch of the unit is left in the ON position, the remote can be used to power it on and off. 4. Highlight the icon for the type of media (i.e. Photo, Music, etc.) that is to be played. If using a memory card or USB storage device, the storage option will be available after you click into a specific media type. For example, if a particular image or set of images is on a USB flash drive, click the Photo icon and then choose the USB option to navigate to the desired photo file.

5. Inside each media category (Photo, Music, Movie) will be the storage options that are connected and available to search. Click on the appropriate storage to access the desired file(s).
Photo Playback • Highlight the Photo icon and press ENTER to select the appropriate storage location for the image file. • Using the UP, DOWN, RIGHT, and LEFT keys on either the photo frame or the remote, choose the desired file by pressing ENTER.

9 • Pressing the Calendar button on the remote will bring up an onscreen playback menu. Pressing the Calendar button again will remove the menu from the screen. • Pressing the Left and Right buttons on the display or the arrow keys on the remote will cycle through the various functions of the onscreen menu; Press ENTER to select the desired function. • A list of the Photo on-screen menu functions is below: Pause/Play: Stops and starts image play during the slideshow Prev: Skips back to the previous image Next: Skips forward to the next image Stop: Stops the slideshow and returns to the list of files R_None/R_ONE/R_ALL: Repeat... None (stops after all images play), ONE (repeats images once), ALL (an endless loop of images) Music: Plays a music file (if available) over slideshow Playlist: Shows a list of the image file names currently playing Info: Displays file information for the on-screen image Rotate Clockwise: Rotates the image clockwise Rotate Counterclockwise: Rotates the image counterclockwise Zoom In: Zooms in on the current image Zoom Out: Zooms out on the current image Move: When zoomed in, move around on the selected image

Music Playback • Highlight the Music icon and press ENTER to select the appropriate storage location for the music file. • Using the UP, DOWN, RIGHT, and LEFT keys on either the photo frame or the remote, choose the desired file by pressing ENTER. • When playing, press the UP and DOWN buttons to skip to the previous or next music file; press the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to adjust the volume of the music. • Pressing the FWD or REW buttons will skim through the music file at a faster rate • Press EXIT to return to the previous menu.

Movie Playback • Highlight the Movie icon and press ENTER to select the appropriate storage location for the movie file. • Using the UP, DOWN, RIGHT, and LEFT keys on either the photo frame or the remote, choose the desired file by pressing ENTER. • When playing, press the UP and DOWN buttons to skip to the previous or next video file; press the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to adjust the volume of the video.

• Highlight the Calendar icon and press ENTER to choose the built-in calendar option. • Pressing the UP or DOWN keys on either the photo frame or the remote will cycle through different years. For example, if the date is 01/15/2015, pressing UP will show the date 01/15/2016; press DOWN and the calendar shows 01/15/2014. • Pressing the LEFT or RIGHT keys on either the photo frame or the remote will cycle through the months of a given year. For example, if the date is 02/15/2015, pressing LEFT will show the date 01/15/2015; press RIGHT and the calendar shows 03/15/2015.
Setup • Highlight the Setup icon and press ENTER to access the settings menu. for the Digital Photo Frame. • Using the UP and DOWN keys on either the photo frame or the remote,choose the setting option to be changed; press LEFT and RIGHT to make adjustments.

Copy Files From USB To Internal Memory • The digital photo frame is capable of copying files from a USB flash drive to its built-in memory. • To begin, all files on the USB flash drive must be on the root directory. Files cannot be in folders or they won't copy over to the internal memory of the digital photo frame. • Then, a new .txt file called "copy.txt" must be created and placed on the USB flash drive in the same root directory as the files that are going to be copied. • To create a .txt file, use a plain-text editor such as Notepad on Windows PCs or TextEdit on a Mac. o Windows/Microsoft Word Example: From the File menu, select Save As. At the bottom of the Save As dialog box, select Plain Text (*.txt) from the Save as type drop-down list. o Macintosh/Microsoft Word Example: From the File menu, select Save As. In the dialog box, select Plain Text (.txt) from the Format drop-down list. • In the Setup menu, select the Copy option. Press either the LEFT arrow key or ENTER to confirm Yes. After selecting Yes, a progress bar will appear indicating that the files are successfully being copied over to the internal memory.

Scroll Subtitle Function • The digital photo frame supports scrolling subtitles when playing photo, music, and video files. • To begin, a new .txt file called "scroll.txt" must be created in the Unicode format and placed on the USB flash drive in the root directory. The file cannot be in a folder or it won't copy over to the internal memory of the digital photo frame properly. • To create a .txt file in the Unicode format, use a plain-text editor such as Notepad on Windows PCs or TextEdit on a Mac. o Windows/Microsoft Word Example: From the File menu, select Save As. Q. Why can't the Digital Photo Frame (DPF) play certain types of files? A. While the DPF can support a wide variety of file formats, there are some that aren't compatible due to the software used to run the DPF. Q. I have a memory card in the DPF, but it's not reading the card. What should I do? A. First, make sure that you are using a memory card that is supported by the DPF (i.e. SD/MMC). Second, ensure that the memory card is inserted all the way into the correct slot. Third, choose the correct card icon on screen that you want to play. Q. Why do some images load faster than others? A. Higher resolution images usually take longer to load.
