The 1860 Megohmmeter is a fast and reliable digital high resistance meter. This economical unit, with large LCD display, is easy to setup and operate in all test environments. The 1860 is ideal for measurement of insulation resistance of components, leakage resistance measurements on capacitors and for resistivity tests on samples of insulating material. The 1860 instrument comes standard with an RS-232 and remote control interface. Whether its component evaluation on the production line or bench-top testing in R&D applications, the 1860 Megohmmeter is right for the task.

Description Easy to Use: The 1860’s quick select programming, simple controls and indicators combine for efficiency of test and productivity. Simple, intuitive front panel connection and programming. A light weight, portable instrument. Selectable Voltage and Range: Both the test voltage and resistance measuring range are readily accessible allowing an operator to make changes quickly. Selection is clearly visible on the display to help eliminate any setup errors. Programmable Times: For flexibility of test and for those devices requiring long charge times, the 1860 unit provides operator programmable charge and measure times out to 999 seconds. Enhanced Display: For operator convenience and preference, the visual display enables a quick perception status and display of the test results as text (Digital) and bar graph (Analog). Standard Interfaces: The 1860 instrument comes standard with an RS-232 interface for automated control and data logging to a PC or outputting test results to a printer. The 1860 can also be intergrated into an automated manufacturing environment with remote start and GO/NO-go results output. Built-in Calibration: For confidence of measurement, the 1860 includes a built-in calibration function that checks the accuracy of the measuring voltage and current measure circuit.
