CD SECTION V P ARTS LISTS The Parts Lists, Figure 5-1 through 5- 3, and the engine mounting parts list (not illustrated) indicate the parts used in the Firebird Model Snowmobile. Many of the parts used in the Firebird are also used in the Executive Model. Pages 5-21 through 5- 22 list only those parts peculiar to the Executive Model. The parts list for the Model 300 will be supplied later. Page 5-2 shows a serial number code for determining, from the machine's identification tag, the exact configuration of the snowmobile and the supplied parts. The first column of the parts list indicates the item number of the parts location drawing. The second column is the Chaparral Industries part number, and the third is the description of the part. Please order spare parts and replacements using both the part number and the full description. The fourth column, Dealer Inventory, shows the items which Chaparral Industries recommends the dealer carry in inventory to facilitate repair work. The retail list price of s uch items is shown in the fifth column. Where the quantity 11 0 11 is shown in column four, the part may be ordered, but is not considered necessary to maintain a spare stock. Where 11 LP 11 is shown, the part, usually common hardware, may be best obtained by local purchase, rather than from Chaparral Industries. The sixth column, Flat Rate Time, is the amount of time, in tenths of an hour, that removal and replacement of the part should requi re . This figure is the only time which Chaparral Industries will accept as a labor charge under warranty claims (See Section One) . Do not compound Flat Rate Time. Each time shown represents complete removal and replacement time, and includes removal of mounting hardware or other parts which must be removed for access. As a convenience to the Dealer, parts lists for the Keihin Seiki Carburetor and the Hirth Engines are included in this section.
