L187 Series AC Power Strips with Six 20A Circuits - Hardwired Description Lowell power strip Series L187 features six 20-amp circuits. It is designed for applications where multiple AC power circuits are required to safely power equipment mounted inside a rack, cabinet or built-in control area. Versatile series is UL Listed under Standard UL5 and installs into cabinets with adjustable or fixed mounting rails or may be bolted to a wall or other flat surface.
Six 20A Circuits
Versatile power strips include ten duplex receptacles wired into six independent circuits grouped as shown. Each circuit has a 20 amp power rating. Connections are made via color-coded pigtail leads located under an access panel in the center of the power strip. Provisions for AC connection into the panel are provided via eight combination knockouts for 1/2" and 3/4" conduit. Two knockouts are located directly behind the access panel (center rear), one on each side of the access panel, and two on each end of the chassis. The chassis measures 56"L x 4"W x 2.125"H and includes provisions for mounting into racks or cabinets with adjustable or fixed mounting rails and a minimum panel space height of 61.25" (35RU). Chassis is finished in black powder epoxy and includes 1/4” hole plugs to fill unused chassis mounting holes per UL requirements. Installation Note: This power strip occupies a minimum of 4" of cabinet depth when installed on mounting rail supports.

For applications that require a UL Listed single-circuit power strip, specify Lowell Series UL180. Refer to spec sheet #1C-202. Model L187 power strip includes 10 standard duplex outlets wired into six independent 20-amp circuits. 20A Circuit 3
Model L187-IG power strip includes 10 isolated ground duplex outlets (industrial grade with orange face) wired into six independent 20-amp circuits.
A & E Specifications UL Listed power strip shall be Lowell Model _______(L187, L187-IG). Power strip shall provide ten ______(standard, isolated ground) duplex outlets wired into six independent 20-amp circuits. Circuit 1 shall have 3 grouped duplex outlets, Circuits 2 and 3 shall have 2 grouped duplex outlets, Circuits 4-6 shall have 1 duplex outlet. Termination shall be via color-coded pigtail leads. Chassis shall measure 56"L x 4"W x 2.125"H and include a wire access panel in the center and (8) 1/2”-3/4” compound knockouts located on both sides of the access panel, behind the access panel and on the top and bottom of the power strip. The power strip shall include hardware for mounting to racks with adjustable rails. It may also be bolted to racks with fixed rails or to other surfaces using hardware by others. It shall also include 1/4” hole plugs to fill unused chassis holes per UL requirements.
