1 Introduction Thank you for buying ZetMac bluetooth Headset BHZ306. With bluetooth mobile phones and other bluetooth devices connected with BHZ306 you will experience freedom in order to make and receive calls - in the office and when you are out. You can pair the headset with a compatible phone that supports bluetooth wireless technology. Please read the manual to achieve most features of this headset.
2 How to get started ■ Overview The headset contains the following parts as shown in the diagram:

Before start using the headset, you have to charge the battery and pair the headset with a compatible phone. Note: Parts of the headset are magnetic and can attract metallic materials. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic media near the headset, because information on them may be erased.

■ Chargers and batteries This unit is equipped with an internal, rechargeable battery. Connect the charger cable to the headset. 1. Plug the charger into a wall outlet. During charging the indicator lights red. If charging does not start, unplug and plug it back. It may take up to 2 hours to fully charge the battery. 2. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator change from red to blue. Remove the plug from the wall outlet and disconnect the charger from the headset. The fully charged battery provides up to 9 hours of talking time or up to 180 hours of standby . However, this may vary depending on the type of phone, settings, application and environment. When the battery is running low, the red indicator is flashing.
■ Turning on and off the headset To turn on the device press the answer / end button and hold for 3 seconds. The blue indicator light starts to flash. To turn off the device press and hold the button for 4 seconds. The headset beeps 2 times, and the red indicator lights up briefly . ■ Pair the headset with a compatible phone 1. Make sure the headset is off. 2. Press the answer / end button for 6 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue and red. 3. Activate the bluetooth feature on the phone and set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices. See your phone's manual for instructions. 4. Select the headset (BHZ306) from the list of found devices. 5. Enter the code 0000 to pair the headset with your phone. For some phones you may need to connect separately after are paired. You only need to pair the headset once with your phone. 6. When pairing is successful, the LED flashes blue briefly 3 times, then blinks once every 7 second. The headset's name appears in the phone menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices. ■ Disconnect the headset and the phone To disconnect the headset with your phone (if you want to connect the phone with another Bluetooth device), you can do one of the following : > Disconnect the headset in the Bluetooth menu. > Move the headset more than 10 meters away from the phone. Do not delete pairing with the headset to disconnect.

■ Re-establish the connection between the headset and the phone If you want to reconnect the headset to your phone, switch on the headset, connect the phone's bluetooth menu or press and hold the answer / end key . You can set your phone to automatically connect to the headset when turning on the headset. Check the operation manual of your phone for more information. 3. Typical use Handling Calls To make a call - Use your phone as normal when the headset is connected to the phone. To answer a call - Press the answer / end key, or use the phone keys. To end a call - Press the answer / end key, or use the phone keys. To reject an incoming call - If you get a call, you will not answer, press the answer / end button and hold for 3 seconds. When you release the button, you will hear a dial tone from the headset. The call has been rejected. Redial last number called - If your phone supports redialing with this device, double tap the answer / end button to redial the last number dialed. ■ How to adjust the earphone volume Volume Up / Press VOLUME + to increase the volume while talking on the phone. Volume Down / Press VOLUME - to adjust the volume while talking on the phone. ■ Switch a call between phone and headset If during a call , press the answer / end button for 3 seconds , switch off the BHZ306 headset and the call is transferred to your mobile phone. If you want to transfer the call back to the headset, you must again press the answer / end key and hold it for 3 seconds until you hear a beep. Then release the button to transfer the call back to the headset. ■ Using BHZ306 with two mobile phones It is possible to have two mobile phones simultaneously associated with BHZ306 headset. This gives you the advantage of only using one headset for both your mobile . ■ Pairing the second mobile phone: When BHZ306 has connected with the first cell phone, turn off the headset, then press the answer / end key and hold it down until the LED indicator flashes blue and red. This indicates that the headset is now in pairing mode. Go into the other phone's bluetooth menu, search for the headset and connect with it. When connected with the other phone, the connection between the headset and the first phone is interrupted. It is necessary to reconnect with the first phone via the phone's settings so that BOTH phones associated with BHZ306. Redial and voice dialing features will only work on the last paired phone ■ Troubleshooting If you cannot connect the headset with your phone, try the following: • Ensure that the headset is charged, switched on, paired and connected to your phone. • Make sure that bluetooth is activated on your phone. • Ensure that the headset is within 10 meters of the phone and that there are no obstructions between the headset and the phone, such as walls or other electronic devices.
