2-2. Explanation of Electronic Circuits in Digital and Analog TVs Explanation: 1. Digital or analog signals travel up the lower coaxial cable. After passing the coaxial cable splitter, the signals arrive at either digital or analog tuner boards. 2. After processing by the digital tuner board, digital signals arrive at the display driver and are converted into images seen on screen. After processing by the analog tuner board, analog signals arrive at the display driver and are converted into images seen on screen. Digital and analog tuners are specific to region, both having US and European versions. 3. Integrated TV modules include channel and volume control keys, as well as speaker output. Block Diagram:

2-3. Explanation of Electronic Circuits – iPod Function (Audio-Video) Explanation: 1.There are two types of iPod boards. One supports audio-video functions; the other supports audio-only functions. 2. In the case of the iPod board with audio-video functions, the iPod board sends signals to the display driver, which converts signals into images displayed on screen. 3. Audio control comes either via keys on the integrated TV screen or via volume control keys on the cardio product display itself. 4. iPod audio output can be either via speakers on the integrated TV module or via earphone jacks on the cardio product display.

2-4. Explanation of Electronic Circuits – iPod Function (Audio-only) Explanation: 1.There are two types of iPod boards. One supports audio-video functions; the other supports audio-only functions. 2. In the case of the iPod board with audio-only functions, the TV will not show iPod video, even if the iPod function is activated on the TV module. 3. iPod volume can be controlled via keys on the cardio product display. Earphone jacks will output iPod audio. But video functions will not be supported.
