Remotely accessing files in the NAS-7202 through the Internet is also possible with its built-in FTP server. The NAS-7202 is embedded BitTorrent client feature that brings you the most convenience to download shared resources from the Internet. It also supports print server feature for users to directly connect their printers to the NAS-7202 for data printing.
The NAS-7202 supports RAID-0 and RAID-1 function to meet the storage requirements of SOHO and SMB. With RAID-0, the used HDD space can easily increase to two times size; with RAID-1, it provides real-time data backup to prevent data lost. Moreover, the NAS-7202 features JBOD function enabling users to use any two different models of the hard drive to process data storage. It presents more flexibility than conventional RAID function that will need two hard drives in the same model when storing data.
The NAS-7202 not only shares HDD space, but also positions as the central management device managing each user of the storage system. It provides advanced user management functions such as private HDD space and login account. With the NAS-7202, home or office users can get a simple yet effective way to expand individual or the network data storage.
