2-P POINT MOU UNTING KIT Mo del Applic cation On o occasion, build ing structures m may not easily accommodate e the sstandard four-p point unit suspe ension on HD/H HDS (100 & For those 125 only), PTC (85 5-310 only), or PTS models. F es, Modine offe ers a two-point mounting convversion kit, case whicch can be used to convert the e unit to two-point suspension. The conversion kit includes two h heavy gauge "C C" channel bracckets and two a angle brackets, along with req quired fasteners s to atttach the brackets to the heater. To e ensure adequatte suspension of the unit is acchieved, follow these e instructions in detail. For ccomplete unit in nstallation instr uctions, please e refer to the la atest revision off the Insta allation & Service Manual thatt shipped with the unit. Thesse are summarrized in Table 1 1.1.

INS STALLATION – 2-P POINT MO OUNTING G KIT ACC CESSORY Y Ass sembly/Insttallation The rrecommended procedure for assembly a and installation i is descrribed as follows s (refer to Figures 2.1 and 2.3 3): 1.
A Attach both "C"" Channel Brac ckets to the exis sting unit ssuspension holes using the ha ardware supplied with the m mounting kit. Each E bracket is attached using g (2) 3/8"-16 x 1” hex head machine m bolts and a (2) 3/8” flatt washers. R Refer to Figure 2.1.

A Attach one of th he angle bracke ets to the top of o each “C” cchannel. Each angle bracket is attached usiing (3) 1/2”1 16 x 1-1/2” hex head machine e bolts, (3) 1/2” flat washers, (3) 1/2” lock wa ashers, and (3) 1/2”-16 nuts. Refer to F Figure 2.2. Han nd tighten the nuts n to allow un nit balancing in n Step 4. E Ensure that the e vertical suppo orts (Unistrut P3 3000T or e equivalent, by others) o from wh hich the unit will be ssuspended are plumb and rigiidly supported. Raise the u unit to its mounting position an nd align the an ngle brackets w with the vertical supports as shown s in Figure e 2.3. Fasten th kets to the vertical supports (fasteners are he angle brack b by others). A After securing the t unit to the two vertical sup pports, e ensure that the unit is level bo oth front to back and side to sside.
