TOA SPEAKER SYSTEM 2-WAY SPEAKER SYSTEM ES-0871 X X DESCRIPTION The TOA ES-0871 and ES-0851 are designed for both permanent and temporary installations. They are general-use 2-way full-range speaker systems that provide high quality and high power output. Single amplifier operation is possible due to the internal passive network. The new high-frequency horn avoids degradation of radiation pattern in diagonal directions. It minimizes particularity in sound signature of conventional CD horns. Each unit also has a high-efficiency compression driver using a titanium diaphragm and a low-frequency cone speaker driven by a large-size (ES-0871:ø200 mm, 16,200 gauss. ES-0851:ø180 mm, 14,000 gauss) magnetic circuit. Both a Neutrik NL4 speakon connector and a screw terminal are provided to meet a wide range of application needs. They are ideal for playing music, speech and music sources in halls, live houses, clubs, discotheques, convention halls, sporting facilities, schools, religious institutions and hotels. These units are multi-purpose speaker system for both small and large-scale applications. Their rugged construction stands up to expected conditions in all the above applications. A wide range of optional brackets is available for mounting the system on walls, ceilings, a speaker stand, pipes and in suspension. The TOA ES-0871 and ES-0851 can also be used as stage monitors. ES-0851 FEATURES The internal passive network guarantees high quality sound. The units can be installed either vertically or horizontally without affecting the coverage, because the horn can be rotated 90°. The speakers can be installed at 45° downward angle in the corner formed by a wall and ceiling, due to its 90° wedge shape cross section. The speakers also function as stage monitors. Carrying handles facilitates moving and installations. The M5 screw terminal assists quick connection. The Neutrik NL4MP connector simplifies temporary installation. The newly developed horn rectifies degeneration in diagonal radiation pattern. The rich variety of brackets can answer almost all installation needs. Special brackets for mounting on walls, ceilings, pipes and a speaker stand (ES-0851 only) are available.
