Exterior Features Driver Installation 3.1 Windows 98/Windows 98 SE Installation 3.1.1 Make sure the Card Reader/Writer has installed to Power Led SMC/XD Indicator CF/MD Indicator SD/MMC Indicator MS Indicator MS SD/MMC SMC/XD CF/MD USB CABLE (Embedded) PC, After the Windows has started, the system will show the “New Hardware Found” windows, When the Device Driver Wizard getting starts, insert the Driver CD into the CD-ROM drive. The Windows 98/SE driver is located within folder windows9XME. 3.1.2 Then double click the icon of CD-ROM drive in “My Computer” then go to “Software Installer” PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com folder by double clicking the folder icon. 3.1.3 Execute “Setup.exe ” by double click the icon. If setup process is correctly carried out, you should find “Removable Disk” drives detected by the operating system. PS: The “Removable Disk” icons identifying the media types correspondingly. 3.2 Windows 2000 Installation 3.2.1 When you plug the cable of the Card Reader/Writer into the USB port, Windows 2000 will automatically detect ONE “Removable Disk”(as shown below). PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com 3.2.2 Insert the CD-ROM disk into your CD-ROM driver and double click the icon of CD-ROM driver in “My Computer” then go to the “Software Installer” folder by double clicking the folder icon. When the file copying is finished, you will find there are “Removable Disk” drive icons appear in “My Computer”. The icons identifying the media types correspondingly. PS. The icon is bright when you insert any cards which are supported by the reader.(now insert the ms card) 3.3 Windows ME/XP/2000SP3 Installation For these operating systems, there is no need to install drivers.
