2001 Nissan Frontier 4 Door/ Extra Cab Sport Utility PRELIMINARY: Disconnect the negative battery cable. ANTENNA: The factory antenna is located atop the right front fender panel. RADIO REMOVAL AND IN-DASH INSTALLATION: Note: The factory radio provision is for a Double ISO/DIN style radio. When installing an aftermarket ISO/DIN radio, we suggest the use of the Scosche TN2150 pocket kit. 1. Remove ashtray, extract (2) Philips head screws from ashtray cavity. 2. Using panel removal tool, pry off radio trim bezel, unplug cigarette lighter, and remove. 3. Extract (4) Phillips head screws securing radio, lift away, unplug, and remove. FRONT DOOR SPEAKER INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 7" 4-Hole Pincushion speaker mounted to a factory speaker adapter and a 1 3/16" tweeter in upper door area on a factory bracket. 1. Remove snap fastener from door triangle with panel removal tool. 2. Using panel removal tool, pry off interior door handle bezel from front to rear 3. Pry up rear armrest section and extract (1) Philips head screw 4. Pry up front armrest section, disconnect switches and extract (1) Philips head screw 5. Pry outwards on door panel until all snap fasteners are loose, pull door panel out and up to remove. 6. Extract (4) 8mm. Bolts, unplug and remove speaker. REAR DOOR SPEAKER INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 4" Pincushion speaker mounted in a factory speaker location . 1. Remove (1) Philips head screw from interior door handle; remove door handle bezel using a panel removal tool. 2. Remove (2) Philips head screws from door pull and remove. 3. Use panel removal tool to pry off door panel, and disconnect window switch Extract (4) 8mm bolts, unplug and remove speaker.
