2002 Ford F-150 Crew Cab Truck PRELIMINARY: Disconnect the negative battery cable. ANTENNA: Front passenger side fender. RADIO REMOVAL AND IN-DASH INSTALLATION: Note: The factory radio provision is for a Ford Double DIN size radio. When installing an aftermarket head unit, a dash installation kit is needed. We recommend the Scosche FD1325 dash installation kit. 1. Carefully pry out radio trim panel using fingers. 2. Using Ford radio removal tools (Scosche DT-1) remove radio. FRONT DOOR SPEAKER INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6"x 8" ford speaker speaker 1. Carefully pry out door opener trim starting from the front of the panel. 2. Locate and extract (1) Philips head screw from behind door opener trim. 3. Carefully pry power window/door lock switchpanel from the front, unplug and remove. 4. Locate and extract (1) 7mm head screw from behind in panel. 5. Extract (2) Philips head screws from lower portion of the door panel 6. Slide panel up, unplug door light, and remove panel 7. Extract (4) ¼” head screws securing speaker, disconnect and remove. REAR SPEAKER INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6"x 8" ford speaker speaker 1. Carefully pry out door opener trim starting from the front of the panel. 2. Locate and extract (1) Philips head screw from behind in door opener trim. 3. Carefully pry power window switch panel from the front, unplug and remove. 4. Locate and extract (1) 7mm head screw from behind in panel. 5. Pry off upper panel located behind window 6. Locate and extract (1) Philips head screw from behind upper panel 7. Extract (2) Philips head screws from lower portion of the door panel 8. Slide panel up, unplug door light, and remove panel 9. Extract (4) ¼” head screws securing speaker, disconnect and remove.
