AT 800-363-4490 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan/Coupe PRELIMINARY: Disconnect the negative battery cable. ANTENNA: Is a Fuba Antenna located Right about rear window in center of car. RADIO REMOVAL AND IN-DASH INSTALLATION: Note: The factory radio provision is for a DIN sized radio. Stereo is ISO mounted. 1. Turn AC control knobs and vent knobs to identify which cables are moving. 2. Connecting cables for AC are located under drivers side of dash on the side of center console. 3. Unclip both cables on bottom of dash. 4. Gently snap out trim radio bezel with panel removable tool. Unplug connecting harness to AC controls. 5. Unscrew (4) Philips head screws that mount radio. Disconnect and remove. FRONT DASH SPEAKER INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 1 ¼” Standard mounted speaker. 1. Use panel removal tool to remove pillar panel. 2. Extract (2) Philips head screws securing tweeter, Disconnect and remove. FRONT DOOR SPEAKER INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6 ½” 4-Hole Standard Mounted speaker. 1. Remove power mirror cover. 2. Extract (1) Philips head screw from behind screw cover in door opener cup. 3. Extract (1) Philips head screw from behind screw cover on top front corner of door. 4. Extract (1) Philips head screw from cup and remove. 5. Extract (1) Philips head screw from behind screw cover in rear of door panel. 6. Pry door snaps loose using a panel removal tool, lift door up and away disconnect and remove. 7. Extract (4) Philips head screw securing speaker diconnect and remove. REAR DECK SPEAKER INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6 ½” 4-Hole Standard mounted speaker. 1. Open Trunk. 2. Find rear of speaker under rear deck. 3. Remove (3) blackhead Philips screws securing top grill to rear deck. Remove grill, extract (4) Philips heads screws securing speaker, disconnect and remove.
