It is recommended to line the floor beneath the unit with carpet or cardboard prior to installation to protect it from being chipped or broken. These instructions are applicable to the installation of all LBL® one-piece toilets. Recommended Materials: • Adjustable wrench • Screwdriver • Putty knife • Wax seal • Hacksaw • Pipe wrench • Tape measure • Supply shut-off valve • Nut driver or socket • 5/16 inch diameter bolts with nuts and washers. • Sponge or rag • Necessary plumbing connections and materials • Safety glasses Before Starting: • Inform yourself of all local building and plumbing codes. • Check new toilet for damage. • Carefully read all instructions. • Make sure that you have all the necessary parts and tools. Note: If existing toilet does not have shut-off valve, one must be installed prior to installation. Remove Existing Toilet: Caution: Turn off main water supply if replacing shut-off valve. • Turn off water supply, then, flush and remove any remaining water from bowl and tank. • Disconnect the water supply connection.     • Remove the existing bolt caps, bolts and toilet, and scrape off the old wax or putty. • Insert new bolts. Note: Cover flange opening with rag for any interruption of installation of new toilet. Insert new bolts into the closet flange after having removed the old bolts and scraped off the old wax. Install New Toilet: • Press new wax seal firmly around the outlet under the bowl. • At this point, remove rag if used for interruption of installation process. Caution: RISK OF LEAKAGE. After placement, DO NOT lift or tilt bowl - if the seal is broken you will have to install a new wax seal. • Align the base of bowl with flange and bolts and firmly press down on rim of the bowl to set the seal. • Set up the bolt caps over each bolt. • Fasten the washer and nut to each bolt. Note: Ensure that the side of the washer with the largest diameter faces upward. Caution: Protect the porcelain from the saw blade when cutting off segments of excess bolt. • If the bolt height passes the nuts by more than 1/4 of an inch, cut off the excess. • Finally, snap the bolt caps into place on washers. • To ensure a watertight seal around the base, you may use a minimal amount of sealant or silicone caulking around the base. Remove any excess.   Connect Water Supply: • Connect the shut-off valve to the supply pipe. Gradually open the valve and check for leaks. • Attach the toilet seat using appropriate directions. • Flush several times to test for leaks and do so periodically for a few days following. Adjusting Water Level: • To adjust the water level in the tank to the indicated water line, squeeze and raise or lower the clip, respectively raising or lowering the water level. Care and Cleaning: Warning: Risk of personal injury. Risk of property and/or product damage. DO NOT use in-tank cleaners or products   containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite) as it may damage fittings in the tank, risking leakage and water damage. To clean toilet, use mild soap or a general purpose cleaning product and warm water, rinse and dry with a soft cloth. DO NOT use abrasive cleaning products, pads or brushes. Recommended cleaning products include: Fantastik®, Lysol® foaming disinfectant, Mr. Clean®, Scrub Free® soap scum remover, Soft Scrub®, Spic and Span®, Windex®. • Watermark Innovations Group, LLC shall not be responsible or liable for any damages to tank, bowl or fitting caused by the use of chemical products containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite). • The use of chemical products containing chloride (calcium hypochlorite) will void the warranty.
