——2:00—TERMS—— 2.00—An ELIGIBLE PLAYER is any boy whose name appears on the team’s official playing roster, whose date of birth has been verified by the league president or his designate as complying with the rules in section 0.30 of this book and whose selection and residency complies with the rules in section 0.40 in this book. A FORFEITED GAME is a game declared ended by the umpire-in-chief in favor of the offended team by the score of 7 to 0, for violation of the rules. A LEAGUE is a group of teams, franchised within a common boundary, who play each other in a pre-arranged schedule under local league rules. A LEGAL SUBSTITUTE is any eligible player on the official playing roster who has not yet officially appeared in the game or a starter who has been withdrawn from the game only one (1) time. THE MANAGER is the one who supervises a team and whose name appears on the Team Player Registration Form. (a) The manager shall always be responsible for the team’s conduct, observance of the official rules and deference to the umpires. (b) If a manager leaves the field, that manager shall designate the coach as a substitute and such substitute manager shall have the duties, rights and responsibilities of the manager.
