HD media player also comes with built-in Bit Torrent (BT) technology that requires no computer when BT downloading, internet content sharing (Wireless LAN and RJ45 supported), and instant download & play with a touch of the unit’s standard multifunctional remote control. (HMU-672RT supports external HDD through USB) The biggest must-own factors of the media player are its long Codec support list on some of the most desired and widely used Codec such as MPEG 1/2/4, WMV HD, VC-1 HD, H.264 HD, MPEG2 HD, Divx/Xvid HD, RM/RMVB HD (up to 1280x720p), mp3, wma, aac, ogg, jpg and bmp. HMU-671RTP offers PLC (Power Line Communication) technology that supports broadband internet access through ordinary power lines. It simply replaces the Ethernet (RJ45) by using the available electrical infrastructure that allows internet access for users in the remote locations with few utilities.
