MULE 600’s compact footprint allows it to fit into the bed of a full-sized pickup, and its single-cylinder engine will keep going strong for a long time to come. Complementing this emphasis on toughness is an easy-to-operate continuously variable transmission resting atop a sturdy, steel tube frame that also hosts a dual-mode rear differential, comfy-riding independent front suspension and beefy hydraulic brakes. And best of all, it accomplishes all this without breaking the bank. POWERTRAIN MULE 600’s air-cooled, 401cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine maintains ideal operating temperatures with help from an efficient cooling fan. An enrichener that partially opens the throttle during ignition allows for easy engine starts in forward or reverse gear, provided the brake is applied. In addition, the MULE 600 incorporates mud flaps by the rear tires to minimize the chance of mud entering the engine area. Owners will appreciate knowing that the MULE 600 comes equipped with an efficient continuously variable transmission and a long-lasting drive belt coupled with a dependable, low-maintenance shaft drive system. The dual-mode differential can be locked to maximize traction on slippery or adverse terrain.

SUSPENSION, BRAKES, & HAULING The MULE 600 side x side rides on a MacPherson strut suspension up front, while a unit swing-axle handles rear suspension duties. Large 22” tires enhance ride quality, and serious stopping power comes via sealed, hydraulic drum brakes on all four wheels. Increasing its work versatility is a 400 lb capable cargo bed that features secure, easy to fasten tailgate latches. The MULE 600 can tow up to 1,100 lb with an optional Kawasaki trailer hitch installed. INTERIOR & LIGHTING User-friendly details in the spacious cab abound, including automotive-type controls and a dash-mounted gear selector as well as two large cup holders, a passenger-side glove box and passenger grab handle. The hinged front hood offers even more storage for those times when extra space is needed. Bright 35-watt headlights allow the job to start before sunrise or continue after sunset.
