2016 KAWASAKI MULE PRO-FXT™ MODEL RANGE The Kawasaki MULE PRO-FXT™ range continues to define the side x side category as the fastest and most powerful MULE ever built. The “King of MULES” family boasts side x side versatility with class-leading 48 lb-ft of torque delivered courtesy of its 812cc three-cylinder fuel injected (DFI®) engine, which is tuned to deliver optimum performance and efficiency. Power is passed through a specially tuned Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with an electrically selectable 2WD/4WD system and dual-mode locking rear differential, giving the driver control on any type of terrain. The side x side has a tough chassis with independent suspension front and rear for comfort, that also helps provide great traction in challenging conditions. The suspension provides a generous 8.7” of travel and excellent ground clearance to give the driver confidence to conquer any terrain. One of the main features of the MULE PRO-FXT is its versatile Trans Cab™ system, which leads the industry with its 1:1:1 seating system, allowing one person to convert the seating configuration from three- to six- passengers with one trip around the vehicle in one minute or less. This allows the MULE to offer an expanded ultra-durable steel cargo bed to carry up to 1000 lb (600 lb maximum in California) in the three-passenger mode. But if you need to carry six people, you simply release two latches on the Trans Cab system, reposition a couple of brackets, raise the rear seat and secure the smaller cargo bed. In this configuration, the cargo bed can carry up 350 lb as well as six passengers – and everybody gets their own car-style three-point seatbelt, protected from the elements from automotivestyle doors. to-read display including speedometer, odometer, hour meter, fuel gauge, dual trip meters, 2WD/4WD indicators, clock and much more to keep the driver informed. Like all Kawasaki MULE products, the PRO-FXT side x side has a ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) system as well as a 2” receiver hitch to tow up to 2,000 lb with the optional draw bar. These add to the versatility and functionality of the durable Kawasaki vehicle, which also comes with a standard Kawasaki STRONG three-year warranty to give the user peace of mind to tackle the toughest jobs or any adventure. For the 2016 Model Year, the Kawasaki MULE PRO-FXT side x side family will have a special Ranch Edition, and there is a separate release for this model. Just like the other vehicles in the range, customers can choose from up to 60 Kawasaki Genuine Accessories made specifically for the MULE PRO-FXT lineup.
KAWASAKI MULE PRO-FXT™ Although this model does not have Electric Power Steering (EPS), it comes standard with durable steel wheels, 26” Duro tires and a high-capacity 60.8 amp alternator that provides passengers superior charging output via two DC outlets in the front cab.
