Wireless carts of student laptops (1:6 ratio for entire school) 2. Teacher Laptop 3. Mounted LCD projector 4. 80 x 60 pull down screen 5. Lockable media cabinet a. DVD/VCR with TV Tuner b. Interactive whiteboard (replaces pull down screen) 2. Interactive whiteboard with attached projector (replaces ceiling mounted projector and pull down screen) 3. Document Camera 4. It will be a locking cabinet generally located at the front of the room near the media control panel and equipment connection plate. Standard Built-in Media Cart How is the teacher laptop and other digital media displayed on the screen? Use the wall mounted control panel to display items from the document camera, laptops, document camera, sound system and DVD/VCR. There are remote controls for some items, like the DVD/VCR, as well. TOOL Laptop DVD/VCR Document Camera Sound System for Laptop, DVD/VCR 3 • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • STEPS TO CONNECT AND USE Press the “Display ON” button on the Control Panel. Connect the LCD projector cable to the laptop. Connect the sound cable Turn on the computer, if not already powered up. Press the PC source (Computer) button on the Control Panel. When done press the “Display OFF” button on the Control Panel. Press the “Display ON” button. Insert the DVD or tape. Press the VCR/DVD source button on the Control Panel. Use the control buttons on DVD or remote control to play, stop, etc. Press the “Display ON” button. Place item to be displayed under camera Turn on the Document Camera. Select “Document Camera” source on the Control Panel. Use control buttons on the Document Camera to focus, zoom, or capture. When done press the “Display OFF” button on the Control Panel. Turn on the sound system in the Media Cabinet. Control the volume or mute at the Control Panel When done press the “Display OFF” button.
