Remove the Finisher Front Cover; Left. (KL-CLIP 1pc.) 4. Remove the Front Cover Assembly. (3 screws) 5. Attach the Booklet Tray on the right side of the Finisher with three hooks and a hand screw. 6. Plug in the Connector coming from under the Booklet Tray. Installation has to be done by an authorized technical expert. Please read "TECHNICAL MANUAL" of the applicable model about work precautions. The following kits (separately packaged) are required in order to install the Multifunction Finisher. Connector Installation Procedure for the Finisher side 1. Open the Front Cover of the Finisher and remove the Upper Bracket. (2 screws) Note: The Upper Bracket will not be reused. Important： Take care not to drop the screws in the machine. Upper Bracket 2. Remove the Lower Bracket. （2 screws） Note：The Lower Bracket will not be reused. (Paper ejection side) (Deltight M3x6 2pcs.) 22762 Document No: Installation Procedure for the Printer Side The following procedures are expected to be done after the installation of "OPTION-PCB Attachment Kit" and "Paper Ejection Attachment Kit". Rear Side Cover FIN-IF Connection Wire Harness Cut off A 1. Remove the Rear Side Cover. (8 screws) 2. Cut off the part of the Rear Side Cover as shown in the illustration. 3. Insert the FIN-IF Connection Wire Harness to the square hole on the Side Frame. 4. Lead the FIN-IF Connection Wire Harness as shown in the illustration and secure it with nine wire saddles and one edge saddle together with the Face-Up External Wire Harness. 5. Plug the Connectors of the FIN-IF Connection Wire Harness into CN2 and CN3 on the OPTION-PCB. 6. Secure the Joint Connector of the FINIF Connection Wire Harness on the Side Frame. (Binding screw M3x6 2pcs.) FIN-IF Connection Wire Harness 8. Set the Booklet Cover on the head of the screws that are secured at the procedure 7 and secure the screws firmly. General Information Replace the PCB Box and secure it with screws. (2 screws) Document No: 22762 15. Adjust the height and eveness of the Finisher with its Adjustment Foot. Lock Nut Adjuster Caster Unit Bracket PCB Box Important: - When installing the Printer and the Finisher at the same time, adjust the evenness of the stand of the Printer before this procedure. - Loosen the Lock Nut which is above the Caster Unit (4 places) locating at the front and the rear side of the Finisher with the Adjustment Foot. Be sure to fasten the Lock Nut after the adjustment. - Check that the height of the hole for the Fixing Shaft matches the one on the Bracket at the procedure 18. Joint Connector 8. Bracket 9. Power PCB Unit Replace the Bracket as shown in the illustration. (2 screws) 16. Plug the connector of the Finisher in the Joint Connector on the Printer. Connector Replace the Power PCB Unit and secure it with screws. (2 screws) Finisher 10. Replace the Ink Supply Unit and secure it with screws. (2 screws) 17. Affix the Gascket on the Rear Frame of the Finisher. Ink Supply Unit Align the top with the line 11. Replace the Exhaust Duct. Exhaust Duct Gascket Printer Stick at the distance about 13mm from the edge of the Rear Frame (the width of the Gascket) Finisher 18. Connect the Finisher and the Printer. 12. Replace the Control PCB Unit and secure it with screws. (2 screws) 13. Replace the Rear Side Cover. (8 screws) Hole for the Fixing Shaft 14. Replace the Rear Cover. Attach the Ferrite Core. Ferrite Core 20. Secure the Joint Plate to the Fixing Shaft. (Deltight M3x6 1pc.) Joint Plate Fixing Shaft 21. Insert the Fixing Shaft and secure it with screws. (Deltight M4x8 2pcs.) Fixing Shaft Top Left Cover 22. Secure the Top Left Cover. (Deltight M3x8 1pc.) 23. Replace the Front Cover Assembly. (3 screws) 24. Replace the Front Cover of the Finisher.
