Recording Your Troubleshooting Your Blood Pressures BP Monitor Place cuff on non-dominant arm (R / L) Multiple readings taken in a row: Start on: _____________ Time: ___________  let it take another reading End on: ______________ Time: ___________ Sleep time: ________________ Awake time: _______________ BP Instructions:  When the cuff begins to inflate  Error message on screen:  Check batteries, replace if low  Remove residual air from cuff by  disconnecting cuff, pushing air out, and replacing on arm If possible sit/stand quietly during the measurement  If cuff is taken off or powered off, Blank screen on Monitor: then take a reading after replacing cuff on arm Reset monitor by turning on/off  Remove and replace batteries If you have any questions or No Reading: concerns please contact us:  Email:  Pressure Monitoring This pamphlet provides instructions on how to use your 24-HR Blood Pressure monitor. The monitor is easy to wear and simple to use. If you encounter any issues please contact us. Listen for air leaks in cuff  Phone: 24-Hour Blood Check that tubing is connected and free from kinks RELAX your arm  Remain still and relax arm, then 540 S College Ave Suite 128, Turn monitor on/off and press Newark, DE 19713 “Start/Stop” to initiate reading When arriving please park in Contact us for additional help spots labeled “patient parking” 24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitor Readings What to expect:  The cuff will inflate automatically  BP readings are taken every 20 minutes during the day and 30 minutes at night  Two readings will be taken during each inflation of the cuff  1. Press the “Start/Stop” button Blood Pressure Monitor 2. Press “Start/Stop” again to take BP reading Awake / Sleep : Turning Off: Press and hold the “Start/Stop”  button until you hear 5 consecutive  beeps “Start / Stop” “Sleep / Awake”  Wear cuff for 24 hours  Refrain from removing cuff  Avoid moderate or vigorous exercise while wearing the cuff  Do not get the cuff wet Place cuff in the middle of your upper arm, above the elbow  Cuff should be snug as to not fall down and allow for normal movement of your arm  The BP tubing should be directed towards the armpit but not in it during the 24HR recording period  The index arrow should align with inside of arm when the palm is up What to do:  Upon waking press “Sleep/Awake” Cuff Placement: When the reading is completed the cuff will deflate When going to sleep press “Sleep/Awake” once When the cuff inflates remain still and relax your arm  User Instructions for Turing On:  BP tubing can be draped over your shoulder and/or tucked under your shirt
