TV Top Speaker Shelf Instruction Manual Atlantic Technology 343 Vanderbilt Avenue Norwood, MA 02062 (781) 762-6300 www.atlantictechnology.com 015-1105 NOTE: Read all safety warnings and instructions carefully and thoroughly before assembling and installing the shelf. Assembly 1. Simply screw the Support Legs to each of the shelves according to the diagram below. The set of holes you use (front or back) will depend on the thickness (depth) of your television/monitor. The thinner the television the closer to the front the support legs should be mounted on the shelf. With a very thin TV/Monitor it may be necessary to reverse the hardware on the Support Legs. See Figure 1. lnstallation 1. Place the shelves side by side, centered on top of the TV/Monitor with the front, downward lip hooking the front of the TV while the Swivel Feet rest on its back. See Figure 3. 2. Adjust the Threaded Handles on the legs to level the shelves. It is suggested that the shelves have a 2º to 5º downward slope towards the front of the television when installing larger speakers. This is compensate for the speaker’s weight. 3. Center the speaker on top of the shelves so the front of the speaker is flush with front of the display. Figure 3 Figure 1 or Thick TV/Monitor Thin TV/Monitor 2. Place the Non-Slip Protective Mat on top of the top surface of the shelves if your speaker does not have protective rubber feet to keep the speaker or other device from sliding. See Figure 2. Figure 2 Safety Warnings • This shelf kit is intended for flat-panel style televisions only. • Do not place speaker on shelf without either rubber feet on your speaker or supplied nonslip protective mat. • Do not place speaker on the shelf in a way that the front of the speaker it not flush with the television screen. • Do not place speaker on the shelf in a way that it is not centered on the shelf and television. • This speaker shelf kit has been rated to hold 40 pounds.
