Fiber Optic Video/Data/Audio Transmitters and Receivers
Overview
Standard Features
The 246DK and 2246DK series fiber links support high-quality, simultaneous transmission of one-way video and two-way audio and control data. 246DK models feature multimode operation, while 2246DK models operate over single mode fibers.
• One-way video, two-way audio and data over one or two fibers • Single and multimode models available • Interfaces to GE Security CCTV equipment • >640 TV lines video resolution • Supports RS-422 and DTMF data formats • 8 MHz video bandwidth • 20 Hz to 15 kHz audio frequency response • Audio SNR >50 dB • 20 dB (single mode) or 10 dB (multimode) optical budget • Optical AGC • Standalone and rack configurations
Control and Intercom Interface The 246DK and 2246DK series are designed specifically to interface to the KTD336 control and intercom equipment, providing one-way video, two-way audio, RS-422 return control and forward DTMF control signals.
Superior Diagnostics The SMARTS™ diagnostic technology provides an extensive set of built-in diagnostic tools and LED displays for monitoring video, audio, data, and optical signals.
