Setup of Funtoro HD system 1. SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC System diagnostic and setting will start when you hold the button for adjusting the brightness (1) on the monitor and at the same time press three times the button for turning ON/Off the monitor (2). Consequently the Login screen will be displayed, where it is necessary to enter the password (see fig.1). 1 2 Fig.1 Fig.2 After entering the correct password the options list with settings and diagnostic options will be displayed (see fig.2). Option PLATE NUMBER Enter the vehicle license plate, for example: TT638EP. After entering the text string confirm the entered data by pressing Submit (see fig.3). Note: Plate Number serves as the identification of the vehicle in Cloud system diagnostics and the content viewing statistics, therefore please pay attention to enter this data correctly. Fig.3 Note : In the case Plate Number is not specified, then no diagnostic and statistic data will be sent to the Cloud server ! 1.2. Option VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Enter VIN of the vehicle. Option SEATS COUNT SETTING Enter the total number of the monitors in this vehicle including Driver console (DC) monitor. The total amount of monitors must not to be the same as is the amount of seats in the vehicle (seats number). After entering the amount of monitors confirm the entered data by pressing Submit (see fig.5). Fig.5 1.4. Option SEATS SETTING After selecting the option Seats Setting will be displayed the screen with actually set parameters of the particular monitor (see fig. 6). This screen is displayed on all connected monitors. Red number represents the monitor number, under this number is the HUB number, to which is the monitor connected. In the left side of the screen is located the total amount of the monitors and HUBs and in the right side of the screen are located three buttons for changing of these parameters (monitor numbers and monitor to HUB assignement). Fig.6 Date: 06/03/2015 Page 5/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN 1.4.1 Option SET ALL SEATS After selecting this option on all monitors will be displayed white number one (see fig. 7) and it is possible to gradually set all monitors by „clicking“ them. The desired monitor is set by clicking on the number one, displayed number of the monitor will change to red color and on all other monitors will the displayed white number increased by one. Please use the same way to gradually set all monitors (assign monitors to particular seats). Fig.7 1.4.2 Option „SET THIS SEAT“ This option allows to set „monitor number“ of individual monitor. After selecting this option the text field will be displayed, where it is possible to enter the numerical value (see fig. 8). Fig.8 Date: 06/03/2015 Page 6/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN Note: Numbers of particular monitors can be higher than the total number of monitors in the bus (e.g. in double-decker buses may the numbering scheme of the seats include first and second floor – e.g.. may be seat number 210 and similar). Assigned monitor number is a kind of labeling the monitor for the user and for some system services (cloud, diagnostics, ...). 1.4.3 Option „SET HUB NO“ This option enables the setting of the HUB number, to which is connected the particular monitor. This is similar to the option in the previous case. 1.5. Option „CAR TYPE SELECTION“ This option allows the selection of predefined profiles of monitor assignment to HUBs (connection schemes). Profile exactly defines, which seat is connected to which HUB. Fig.9 Note: This option is suitable for repeated setting of the same type of monitors and HUBs interconnections in several buses with the same architecture of MOD system (some form of „model“ diagram). Profile preview: 3;6;9;12;15;18 19;20;23;26;29;32 35;38 30;31;33;34;36;37 21;22;24;25;27;28 10;11;13;14;16;17 1;2;4;5;7;8 This means, that to HUB n. 1 are connected monitors 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 etc. Date: 06/03/2015 Page 7/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN Note: Car Type profiles themselves are defined by XML file in the Profile of MOD system (customer profile of application), which is used by MediaManager in the process of creation of SSD disc with media content. In case of the introduction of the new type of installation it is necessary to modify/add the relevant .xml file in the folder „Car_Type“ on SSD disc or in particular „Profile“. 1.6. Option HUBS COUNT SETTING Enter the total number of HUBs in this vehicle. After entering the total number of HUBs confirm the entered data by pressing the Submit (see fig. 10). Fig.10 1.7. Option TV CHANNELS SETTING Enter the total number of TV channels (AV inputs) into Capture Boxes, that are available. After entering the amount of TV channels (AV inputs) confirm the entered data by pressing Submit (see fig. 11). Fig.11 Date: 06/03/2015 Page 8/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN Note: Maximum possible amount of AV inputs is 16 (when 4pcs of Capture Box are used). 1.8. Option NETWORK TEST This option is for testing the speed of the network communication either individually on desired monitor or by serial testing of all monitors at the same time. After selecting this option the screen with two options will be displayed (see fig. 12). Choosing „single“ we will test „driver“ console (or on desired passanger monitor by clicking on OK), choosing „serial“ will start gradual test on all monitors, where the individual test takes approximately 3 seconds, testing of approximately 70 connected monitors takes approximately 3 minutes. Fig.12 1.9. Option TOUCH SCREEN TESTING This option is for testing the correct functionality of the touchscreen of the monitor. Option DATE TIME SETTING This option is used for setting date and time in the system. After selecting this option the menu with three settings (date, time, time zone) will be displayed and in the upper part of the screen are located the current values of these three parameters (see fig. 13). Fig.13 For correct setting of the time it is important to use one of the following procedures: 1. At the first set the value of Time zone according the location and after that the local time and date or 2. Enter the values UTC Date, then UTC time and subsequently adjust the Time zone. This will adjust the time value (and possibly also date) to local time and in the upper line should be displayed the correct local time and date (Fig.13) (UTC = Coordinated Universal Time). Confirm by pressing on „Set“ (see fig. 14). Fig.14 Set the time by clicking on „Time“ and subsequently choose the desired minute and hour. Also confirm by clicking on the „Set“ (see fig. 15). Option INFORMATION This option is used for displaying the system information (hardware and software) Main screen includes 5 selection options (see fig. 17): Fig.17 Date: 06/03/2015 Page 12/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN 1.11.1 BUS INFO (HW) – HARDWARE INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUS Among the bus hardware information (Bus Info HW) we will find the information like currently set registration plate of the vehicle, vehicle VIN code, total number of the monitors (seats) and actual GPS coordinates (see fig. 18). Fig.18 Note: After connecting functional GPS antenna to the system actual GPS coordinates will be shown on this screen. When the antenna is not connected or if it does not send the valid NMEA sentences, then instead of GPS coordinates will be displayed: N/A 1.11.2 BUS INFO (SW) – SOFTWARE INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUS Among the software information about the bus (Bus Info SW) there will be displayed versions of applications running on the Server, the version of MediaManager and of teh Profile, that was used at generating the disc (see fig. 19). Fig.19 Date: 06/03/2015 Page 13/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN 1.11.3 CLIENT INFO (HW) – HARDWARE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLIENT Among the hardware information about the client will be displayed bootloader version, assigned monitor number and its IP adress (see fig. 20 ). Fig.20 IP adress of the monitor is also shown for the moment in the left down corner of the monitor when the monitor is turned Off. 1.11.4 CLIENT INFO (SW) – SOFTWARE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLIENT Screen with software information about the client is displayed on the fig. 21. Fig.21 Date: 06/03/2015 Page 14/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN 1.11.5 CLIENT INFO (PROFILE) – INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE CLIENT PROFILE Screen includes information about the client profile (version, description, last change) in the form shown on the Fig. 22. Option REBOOT SELECTION This option is used for restart of the system by following three options (see fig. 23): 1. reboot this monitor 2. reboot all monitors 3. reboot the whole system Fig.23 Date: 06/03/2015 Page 15/16 NU_MOD SYSTÉM HD SETUP_000_06032015_EN 1.13. Option DEVICE MODE This option is used for changing the monitor mode from DRIVER mode (Driver console = special functions for operating the system) to the CLIENT mode (passenger) or vice versa. The current mode is displayed after the colon (DRIVER / CLIENT), we can change it by clicking on this option. Note: Monitor, on which the function Driver console is started, will itself switch do the mode DRIVER after its start. Since the function Driver console cannot be exited otherwise as by turning Off the monitor, then monitor remains set into the DRIVER mode. In the case relevant monitor should be used as a standard monitor (Client), then it should be manually switched in „System Diag“ to „CLIENT“ mode. 1.14. Option READING LAMP This option is used for enabling / disabling of reading LED light in 10“ monitors which can be equipped with LED light (depending on the model/version of 10“ monitor and its installation kit). Current status is displayed after the colon (ENABLE/DISABLE), we change it by clicking on this option. 1.15. Option MEMORY CHECK After clicking on this option and starting it by pressing „Start“ the information about the actual usage of the system memory of the monitor will be shown (see fig. 24). Fig.24 Note: the time counter increment is 10 seconds (it means you can see monitor test activity every 10 secondas) After pushing the STOP button the monitor will reset ! 1.16. Option SOFTWARE UPDATE This option is used for changing the firmware and SW applications of the monitor and is not intended to be used by standard user! Date: 06/03/2015 Note !
