Wireless alarm range 1 TLX2 - TLX4 - MEX User guide PRESENTATION 2 LEARNING The remote control allows you to switch your Tyxal alarm system on and off. The inset allows you to raise an alarm in the event of an emergency (you need to have a Tyxal telephone transmitter). The control unit must be in MAINTENANCE mode (see control unit guide). Contents - a key ring remote control or a help button delivered with its battery, - a user guide, - a key ring for the key ring remote control, - a chain for the help button. Go to the “Product” menu on the control unit - Press the "ON" button of a keypad or remote control that is already recognized for 5 seconds. The control unit emits a beep and the front panel indicator light is steady. Assigning a key ring remote control or help button to the system 3 - TLX2 has “ON” and “OFF” buttons. - TLX4 also has partial operation buttons “1” and “2”. - MEX has a single “SOS” button. ON OFF 11 2 Note: If no control device has been learnt by the control unit, going to the “product” menu will record this remote control. TLX2 : Two-function key ring remote control TLX4 : Four-function key ring remote control MEX : Help button SOS Record your TLX2 or TLX 4 key ring remote control, or your MEX help button - For more than 5 seconds, press the “ON” key of the key ring remote control or the “SOS” button of the help button that you want to add. 1 alarm The control unit emits a beep 2 tamper alarm and its LED "2" (remote 3 battery control + keypad) indicator 4 supervision 5 open door/ window light comes on. This indicator will be on remove test already if an element has been recorded. The control unit emits several beeps if the product is recorded incorrectly, at the limit of the radio range or if the maximum number of control devices has been reached. 4 USE 5 Total operation To set the alarm system to total surveillance mode. Total shutdown To set the alarm system to total surveillance OFF mode. Partial operation 1 Setting the surveillance of the assigned detectors to partial operation “1” (for example: Protection of the “day” areas of the site to be protected). Partial operation 2 Setting the surveillance of the assigned detectors to partial operation “2” (for example: Protection of the “night” areas of the site to be protected). Alert button To trigger an emergency alarm. (e.g. allows you to send an emergency call using the telephone transmitter of the Tyxal range). POWER SUPPLY The battery’s end of life is indicated by the LED flashing for 5 seconds each time a button is pressed on the remote control. To change the battery: 1 1 - Remove the 2 screws. LED 2 2 - Open the cover. 3 - Fit the new lithium battery type CR2032, ensuring that the polarities are correct. 3 - Close the cover and screw it on. Never throw away the flat battery. They must be taken back to the point of purchase.
