The description of hard disk capacity calculated As the hard disk supplier’s operation system is different, it will have a different method of calculation capacity. So showed capacity is less than the hard drive marked capacity. This calculates capacity indication of a hard disk at 1GB =1000MB, but a calculation on the OS is calculated at 1GB =1024MB. For example: Three 400GB combined into one hard disk, the disk space is 1.2TB, after the operation system formatting, the differences as below: HardDisk OS 1.2TB 1.09TB 1,200GB 1,117GB 9 1,200,000MB 1,144,409MB dyconn limited warranty DYCONN warrants only to the original purchaser of this product from a Dyconn authorized reseller or distributor that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for (1) one-year after date of purchase.
