PRODUCT DATASHEET LCF38-50J 3/8" CELLFLEX® Low-Loss Foam-Dielectric Coaxial Cable CELLFLEX® 3/8" low loss flexible cable FEATURES / BENEFITS Low Attenuation The low attenuation of CELLFLEX® coaxial cable results in highly efficient signal transferin your RF system. Complete Shielding The solid outer conductor of CELLFLEX® coaxial cable creates a continuous RFI/EMI shield that minimizes system interference. Low VSWR Special low VSWR versions of CELLFLEX® coaxial cables contribute to low system noise. Outstanding Intermodulation Performance CELLFLEX®FRD[LDOFDEOHVVROLGLQQHUDQGRXWHUFRQGXFWRUVYLUWXDOO\HOLPLQDWHLQWHUPRGV Intermodulation performance is also confirmed with state-of-the-art equipment at the RFS factory. High Power Rating Due to their low attenuation, outstanding heat transfer properties and temperature stabilized dielectric materials, CELLFLEX® cable provides safe long term operating life at high transmit power levels. Wide Range of Application Typical areas of application are: feedlines for broadcast and terrestrial microwave antennas, wireless cellular, PCS and ESMR base stations, cabling of antenna arrays, and radio equipment interconnects. 3/8" CELLFLEX® Low-Loss Foam Dielectric Coaxial Cable Technical Features APPLICATIONS Applications OEM jumpers, BTS inter-cabinet connections, GPS lines, Microwave IF cabling STRUCTURE Cable Type Size Jacket Option Inner Conductor Dielectric Outer Conductor Jacket mm (in) mm (in) mm (in) mm (in) Foam-Dielectric, Corrugated 3/8" Black 3.1 (0.12) Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire 7.2 (0.28) Foam Polyethylene 9.5 (0.37) Corrugated Copper 11.2 (0.44) Polyethylene, PE ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS ȍ GHz % pF/m (pF/ft) µH/m (µH/ft) kW Volts Volt RMS ȍm ȍft) ȍm ȍft) Impedance Maximum Frequency Velocity Capacitance Inductance Peak Power Rating RF Peak Voltage Jacket Spark Inner Conductor dc Resistance Outer Conductor dc Resistance Return Loss (VSWR) Performance Maximum Return Loss Phase Stabilized Temperature & Power dB (VSWR) 50 +/- 1.5 13.5 88 76 (23.2) 0.19 (0.058) 15.4 1240 5000 3.8 (1.16) 2.9 (0.88) Standard Contact RFS for your VSWR performance specification for your required frequency band.
