PLUG AND PLAY CONNECTIVITY Experience super-fast setup with plug and play connectivity. All Value, Essential, Advantage, Specialty and selected Performance series monitors include support for an analog (VGA) input. Selected Essential and Specialty series monitors provide additional support by including a digital (DVI-D) input with HDCP support for digital modes.

VESA MOUNTING All HP display monitors are designed to be compliant with the VESA Flat Display Mounting Interface (FDMI) Standard. This allows you to mount the display on the wall, on an optional swivel arm or via a mounting bracket. HP display monitors can be easily detached from their base for mounting in the preferred position to improve user comfort or save space.

The HP Quick Release is an easy to use, VESAcompliant mounting solution that allows you to quickly and securely attach HP display monitors to a variety of stands, mounts or onto a wall. HP Quick Release can also be used for mounting any combination of devices that are VESA compatible. The failsafe “SureLock” mechanism snaps the monitor securely in place and can be further secured with a security screw to deter theft.
The HP LCD Speaker Bar lets you add audio features to an HP business monitor without taking up any additional desk space. The bar attaches seamlessly to the bottom bezel of the monitor to bring audio support features, including stereo speakers with full sound range and dual external headphone jacks, right to the desktop. The cable management solution further helps to keep the PC and monitor cables together and hidden from view. The built-in HP Quick Release enables easy installation and removal of the monitor, while the mounting plate allows easy assembly of the PC or thin client.

HP business monitors include advanced power management features that have been awarded the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR® qualification. Selected models also consume less power than previous generation models through the use of a low power panel.
Most HP display monitors contain a BFR/PVC free panel, cabinet and housing. Many also include a display that is arsenic-free and contains a 50% reduction in mercury from previous generation models.
A minimalist twin-pack design on selected models reduces the impact on the environment. Minimalist bulk-pack designs on selected performance series models also reduces e-waste and lessens the impact on the environment.
CFC-free processes
Product Disassembly
Both HP and its suppliers use only CFC-free processes to protect the ozone layer from further damage.
HP products are easily disassembled at the end of the product life to aid in recovery of recyclable components.
Product Packaging
Making recycling easier
HP packages all their products with recyclable materials, no heavy metal inks and minimal packaging materials. Selected models also use a newer alternative packaging design that uses folded corrugated cushions with a lower environmental impact than EPS foam cushions for added environmental benefit.
Commonly recycled materials on HP products are easily identified. This makes it easier to find a market for such components.
