DATE HOURS SECONDS
Using the Chronograph 1. Press the upper button to start the chronograph: the minute and twentieths-of-second dials begin tracking their units and the sweep second hand starts counting seconds. Note that the twentieths dial does not move (to conserve battery power), but it is counting. The minutes dial is moving, but so slowly you may not able to see it move. A. Press the upper button again to stop the count (at this moment, the twentieths dial will move to show you the current fraction): press the upper button again if you wish to resume the count. B. Press the lower button when the count is stopped to reset to zero. 2.If you need to re-calibrate the stopwatch (the dials do not reset to zero after a blow or battery change): A. Pull the crown out to the second position, and press the upper button to advance the second hand. Each press advances it one second; holding the button for over two seconds causes it to run continuously.
B. Press the lower button to advance the twentieths dial. Each press advances it one twentieth; holding the button for over two seconds causes it to run continuously. C. Press the crown back in and then pull it out to first stop; use the lower button to advance the minute hand (in the upper dial) to zero. Each press advances it one minute; holding the button for over two seconds cause it to run continuously. Setting the time and date Pull the crown out one stop and turn to reset the hour hand and the date. Change the date, in the window at the 4 o’ clock position. by continuing to move the hour hand forward or backward; the date changes every 24 hours (every second time the hour hand passes 12). Be careful of the difference between 12 midnight, when the date changes, and 12 noon; make sure you set your watch so that the date changes to the next day at midnight, not at noon. Pull the crown out to the second stop to adjust the minutes (notice that the hour hand moves slightly to occupy the place between hours that corresponds to your minute setting).
