Installation and Assembly: 30U AV Component Rack System Model: AVL Max load capacity: 1,000 lb (453kg) NOTE: Read entire instruction sheet before you start installation and assembly. Warning • • • • • • • Do not begin to install your Peerless product until you have read and understood the instructions and warnings contained in this Installation Sheet. This product should only be installed by someone of good mechanical aptitude, and fully understands these instructions. Never exceed the Maximum UL Load Capacity on page 1. Always use an assistant or mechanical lifting equipment to safely lift and position equipment. Tighten screws firmly, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the items, greatly reducing their holding power. The cart is not affixed or secured to the floor, and may therefore tip over and/or fall if display and/or stand is shaken or hit. Always monitor children and do not let children play alone around stand as they could get hurt by a falling display. Not recommended for use in areas with heavy traffic. This product is intended for indoor use only. Use of this product outdoors could lead to product failure and personal injury. To prevent scratching the rack system, set a cloth on a flat level surface that will support the weight of the rack system. 2. Lay rack system on its side 3. Attach casters to base with four M8x16mm screws and four M8 nuts Attach Handles 4. Stand rack system upright and find the front side 5. Align the screw holes in the handle, with the holes on the front of the rack system 6. Attach handle using M6x50mm Philips head screw and M6 rubber washer 7. Attach the other handle on the opposite side Attach Vent Plates 8. To attach vent plate, insert four M6 lock nuts into the square opening in the front of the rack 9. Align the holes of the vent plate and nut and attach with the M6x13mm Philips head screw 10. Repeat four more times to attach the other four vent plates Attach Cable Management Clips 11. Turn the rack system around to face the back 12. Align the cable management clip to the holes on either the left or right side of the rack system 13. Attach the cable management clip with the M5x13mm Phillips head screw 14. Repeat seven more times
