Getting Started: Before using the GPS Bike computer for the first time, please complete the following tasks first: 1) Charge the GPS Bike computer 2) Configure the GPS Bike computer 3) Turn ON the GPS 4) Link your Heart rate Monitor with the GPS Bike computer 5) Go for a RUN 6) How to change views while the chronograph is running 7) How to take LAP 8) How to view DATA after stopping and before saving 9) How to Save your RUN 10) How to view DATA in DATA mode

How to Charge the GPS Bike computer: 1) Plug your USB cable to your PC 2) Align the charging clip with the four contact pins of the Bike computer 3) Connect securely the charging clip to the computer. Charge the unit for at least 4.0 hours before first use. The length of time for a fully charged battery will last depending on the actual usage. It is recommended to regularly re-charge your battery every 1-2 months even if it is not used to maintain good battery condition.
How to configure your GPS Bike computer 1) Before using your GPS Bike computer, please go to SET mode to set the following parameters: AUTO LAP, TIME, UNITS, USER, HRM, HRM LINK, NIGHT, CONTRAST, CHIME, ALARM, TIMER, ODO, and VIEW. 2) TIME, NIGHT, CONTRAST, & CHIME can also be set in TIME SET mode. 3) AUTO LAP, UNITS, USER, ODO, and VIEW can also be set in RUN SET mode. 4) TIMER can also be set in TIMER SET mode 5) HRM & LINK HRM can also be set in HRM SET mode. 6) ALARM can also be set in ALARM SET mode.
How to turn ON GPS: Following are the possible ways to turn ON GPS 1) Press S1 in TIME mode. The Bike computer will display the GPS / INDOOR selection screen. • Press S1 or S11 to select GPS and press S5 to confirm. • The Bike computer will start searching for the GPS signal and go to RUN mode. 2) Press S7 to enter BIKE, CHRONO, HRM, ALTI, COMPASS, or TIMER mode. • The Bike computer will display GPS/ INDOOR selection screen • Press S1 or S11 to select GPS • Press S5 to enter. The Bike computer will start to search for GPS signal and go to GPS GO screen. • If you select INDOOR, your exercise will have no GPS data 3) Press and hold S7 for 2 seconds from any mode while GPS is initially OFF. • The bike computer will display ON GPS and start searching for GPS signal. • The bike computer will then go to GPS GO screen.
How to turn OFF the GPS 1) Press and hold S7 for 2 seconds from any mode while GPS is initially ON. • The Bike computer will display OFF GPS. • The Bike computer will then go to INDOOR screen. 2) Press S7 to enter BIKE, CHRONO, HRM, ALTI, COMPASS, or TIMER mode. • The bike computer will display GPS/ INDOOR. • Press S1 or S11 to select INDOOR • Press S5 to enter. If you select INDOOR, your exercise will have no GPS data 3) When the chronograph is stopped and reset in any mode, the GPS will go to TIME mode after 10 minutes and the GPS will be on Standby mode (GPS ring icon flashing). The GPS will auto turn OFF after 1 hour (GPS ring icon is OFF).
How to PAIR your Heart Rate monitor You can skip this step if you do not have a Heart Rate Monitor.
WARMING: Persons using artificial Cardiac Pacemakers should not use this product. Signal from the Heart rate Monitor may interfere with the Pacemaker.
1) Wet both electrodes with a damp cloth on the back of the HRM belt. This will help create a strong electrical connection between your chest and the HRM transmitter. 2) Wrap around the chest belt around your rib cage just below the pectoral muscles and attach the other end of the strap to the HRM transmitter. The elastic strap should be adjusted so that it is snug enough so that it will not move during use but not so tight as to restrict breathing. 3) GO to HRM SET mode / HRM LINK. 4) Press S5 to enter. The Bike computer will now search for the HRM signal. The Bike computer will then automatically go to HRM mode after receiving the HRM signal.
Going for a RUN using RUN, CHRONO, HRM, ALTI, TIMER, or COMPASS mode 1) Press S7 to select which mode you want to use. The Bike computer will momentarily display the selected mode and then GPS / INDOOR. 2) Press S1 or S11 to select between GPS and INDOOR. 3) Press S5 to enter. The Bike computer will start searching for GPS signal if you select GPS. 4) Press S1 to start the chronograph. Your Data is recorded only while the chronograph is running. 5) Press S5 to view any of the following information: DISTANCE, PACE, SPEED, HRM,% Max, CALORIE, In Zone, CLOCK, Chrono, Compass data, Altitude, or Odometer that will be displayed in the running screen. 6) While the chronograph is running, Press S1 to STOP. 7) The chronograph of RUN, CHRONO, HRM, TIMER, ALTI, COMPASS, modes will also START or STOP at the same time.
How to change views in RUN, Chrono, HRM, TIMER, or ALTI modes while chronograph is running 1) Press S5 to change the information in Line 1 for RUN mode. The information you can choose from are Chrono, Pace, Speed, HRM, Calorie, Odometer, Alti, Compass, Clock, or Distance. Line 2 & Line 3 information can be changed in RUN SET mode / VIEW. 2) Press S5 to change the information in Line 2 of Chrono mode. Line 1 will display Lap Chrono and Line 3 will display Lap Time. 3) Press S5 to change the information in Line 2 of TIMER mode. Line 1 will display Timer and Line 3 will display the Loop Distance. 4) Press S5 to change the information in Line 2 of HRM mode. Line 1 will display HRM and Line 3 will display CHRONO. 5) Press S5 to change the information in Line 2 of ALTI mode. Line 1 will display ALTI and Line 3 will display CHRONO.
How to view data after your exercise(Chronograph is stopped)
1) Press S1 to STOP the chronograph. 2) Press S5 to view the information related to your current exercise. Following are the information as you press S3: • Distance / Chrono / STOP • Chrono / ODO / Calorie • Calorie/ Ave Speed / Max Speed • In Zone / Ave HR/ Max HR • Max Alti / ASC + / DSC –
How to SAVE your RUN 1) Press S1 to stop your exercise. 2) Press and hold S1 for 2-3 seconds while the chronograph is stopped or press S11 to save your data. • If you press & hold S1, the Bike computer will display HOLD TO RESET and then SAVE FILE # and go back to GPS GO screen. • If you press S11, it will directly display SAVE FILE # and go back to GPS GO screen. • You can save up to 30 Data files at 100 Laps per file. If the Lap memory is full, the Bike computer will display LAP FULL. If the FILE memory is full, it will be managed in First in- First out basis. The oldest file will be automatically deleted and replaced by the latest file.
How to view data in DATA mode 1) Press S7 from COMPASS mode to enter DATA mode. The Bike computer will momentarily display DATA and then the latest data file. If there is no data available, it will display DATA - - - -. 2) Press S1 to scroll through the other Bike data files. Notice the file number counter is blinking. 3) Press S5 to enter the selected data file. The Bike computer will display the Start time/ End time. 4) Press S1/S5 to view other details. Press S11 to view the previous detail. Following are the details to view when you press S1/S5: • Start Time/ End Time / Distance • Chrono/ Distance / Calorie • Chrono/ Average Speed / Max Speed • In Zone / Ave HRM / Max HRM • Chrono / ASC + / DSC • Lap 1 time/ Distance ( Lap number is flashing) 5) From any views above, press and hold S5 for 2 seconds will also enter VIEW, DEL, and DEL ALL sub menus. 6) While in LAP view, press S1 to view the lap time & lap distance of other laps. • Lap 2 time/ Distance • Next lap data • Up to Last Lap data. • Pressing S1 will loop from Lap 1 to last lap. • Press S11 will reverse the process from last lap to lap 1. • Press S11 from Lap 1will display CHRONO/ ASC+ / DSC -. 7) While in LAP views, press S5 will display the Segment # / Loop # / TIMER/ Distance. Loop number will be flashing. 8) Press S1/S11 to toggle between various Segment / Loop number data. 9) While in any TIMER views, press S5 to view the VIEW/ DEL/ DEL ALL sub menu. 10) You can also press S11 while in any DATA FILE view to view the VIEW/ DEL/ DEL ALL sub menu. 11) Press S1 to select between VIEW, DEL, or DEL ALL sub menus. The selected menu will be blinking. 12) While VIEW is blinking, press S5 to go to DATA file view. 13) While DEL is blinking, press & hold S5 to delete the data. After the data is deleted, the Bike computer will display the next DATA file. 14) While DEL ALL is blinking, press & hold S5 to delete all data. After all data is deleted, the Bike computer will display DATA - - - -.
How to DELETE DATA 1) While you are in DATA mode, press S1 select which data file you want to delete. 2) Press S11 in DATA file view. The Bike computer will display the VIEW/ DEL/ DEL ALL sub menu. 3) Or, Press S5 to enter the details of the selected file. The Bike computer will display Start / End. 4) Press and hold S5 for 2 seconds to enter the data sub menus VIEW/ DEL/ DEL ALL. 5) Or, continuously press S5 until VIEW/ DEL/ DEL ALL sub menus will display after the last TIMER data. 6) Press S1 to select which action you want to do. 7) While VIEW is blinking, press S5 to go to DATA file view. 8) While DEL is blinking, press & hold S5 to delete the data. After the data is deleted, the Bike computer will display the next DATA file. 9) While DEL ALL is blinking, press & hold S5 to delete all data. After all data is deleted, the Bike computer will display DATA - - - -.
Travelling between different Time zones
1) When you are traveling to a different Time zone, you have to set your GPS Bike computer to your destination Time zone. We recommend setting Time 1 to your current location and Time 2 set to your destination Time zone. 2) When you arrive to your destination Time zone, press & hold S1 for 2-3 seconds to change the time to Time 2. 3) When you go back to your original location (Time 1), press & hold S1 for 2-3 seconds to change the time back to Time 1. 4) The Time of the Bike computer will be synchronized with GPS TIME when you turn ON the GPS. 5) Make sure that the Bike computer is set to the correct CITY CODE and DST ON or OFF setting so that it can display the correct time.
How to take LAP 1) Press S11 to take manual LAP in RUN, CHRONO, TIMER, HRM, ALTI, or COMPASS mode. 2) The Bike computer will also take LAP automatically based on AUTO LAP setting in SET mode.
