Highlights Real Flat picture tube The flatter tube provides a wider viewing angle while minimizing reflections for the best picture possible. HDTV Monitor HDTV is the latest and best television signal available. It produces picture quality more than twice that of traditional analog broadcasts. In order to effectively maximize the HDTV signal, a television must incorporate advanced signal input connectivity Progressive Scan Progressive Scan doubles the vertical resolution of the image resulting in a noticeably sharper picture. Instead of sending a field comprising the odd lines to the screen first, followed by the field with the even lines, both fields are written at one time. A full image is created instantaneously, using the maximum resolution. At such a speed, your eye perceives a sharper picture with no line structure. Active Control Active Control ensure that noise and sharpness improvements are continuously made at a rate of 60 times per second. By continually adjusting picture setting over 3,000
times per minute, Active Control Plus ensures that the viewing experience is optimized. Virtual Dolby Surround Virtual Dolby Surround is a processing technology for enhancing surround sound effects. It will create the sensation of Dolby Pro Logic without the necessity of additional rear speakers. You become totally immersed in your television experience. SAP Secondary Audio Program (SAP) allows you to choose another language in program where two languages are available. Auto Picture Auto Picture button on the remote control enables one-touch selection of various preset optimized image settings to suit different TV program. Auto Sound Auto Sound provides pre-defined sound settings for ultra bass, bass, treble and balance for the optimum entertainment experience.
Teletext/closed caption-ready The ability to display Teletext and/or Closed Captioning where available. Teletext is an electronic communications system in which text information is broadcast along with television signal to allow sets equipped with decoders to display extra information. Closed Captioning displays visible text for spoken audio. Side Stereo AV & headphone Side stereo AV & headphone makes it more convenient to connect external devices like audio equipment, games and video cameras. It's the easy way to enjoy an extra audio sensation or a totally immersive gaming experience. HDMI input HDMI makes an uncompressed digital RGB connection from the source to the screen. By eliminating conversion to an analog signal, it delivers an unblemished image. The nondegraded signal reduces flicker and leads to a clearer picture. HDMI intelligently communicates the highest output resolution with the source device. The HDMI input is fully backward compatible with DVI sources but includes digital audio. HDMI uses HDCP copy protection.
