NOTE: Before starting the installation, check the function of the vehicle (horn, lights, etc.) for proper operation, and study the instructions, illustrations, & diagrams. Perform the Following: 1. Disconnect Battery. 2. Drain radiator. 3. Remove grill (retain). 4. Remove radiator cap and upper radiator panel (retain). 5. Remove radiator (retain radiator lower mounting tab bolts).
Fan Shroud Assembly 1. Connect fan shroud bracket assemblies as shown below. Fan Shroud Top Bracket Assembly 647050

1. Place fan shroud assembly on top of radiator. Then, using (6) holes on fan shroud assembly, center punch or scribe marks through holes onto radiator side flange. 2. Remove fan shroud assembly and drill 3/16” holes through center-punched or scribed marks on radiator side flanges.

Fan Shroud Assembly Installation
1. Remove fan shroud driver- and passenger-side bracket assemblies from fan shroud assembly. 2. As shown below, align fan shroud driver- and passenger-side bracket assemblies with 3/16” holes that were drilled into radiator side flanges. 3. Install fan shroud driver- and passenger-side bracket assemblies using (6) 10-24 x 3/8” pan head screws and (6) 10-24 nuts as shown below. Fan Shroud Driver-Side Bracket Assembly 647052

1. Apply a silicone-based sealant on fan shroud center brace bracket assembly, and place silicone U-channel on top as shown below. 2. As shown below, align fan shroud top bracket assembly with driver and passenger side bracket assemblies, and secure with (6) 10-24 x 3/8” pan head screws.

Foam and Hole Plug Installation
1. Cut 52” foam strip into (2) 26” pieces, and install on the top and bottom of radiator as shown below. 2. Install (6) 1/2” hole plugs into holes shown below. Radiator Top

Adel Clamp & Fan Installation
1. Secure overflow drain line with (2) #2 Adel clamps as shown below. 2. Install (2) fans onto fan shroud top bracket assembly using (8) 10-24 x 3/4” pan head screws as shown below.

Top Mounting Bracket and Radiator Assembly Installation
1. Install 5/16-18 x 1” hex bolt, bolt lock bracket and 5/16” push nut bolt retainer onto top mounting bracket of radiator as shown below. 2. Install radiator assembly into vehicle using OEM hardware on lower mounting brackets of radiator. Secure top mounting bracket of radiator using 5/16-18 nylon locknut.

Dual Fan Wiring Harness Installation

1. Use butt connectors to connect the white ground wires and purple wires as shown below. Crimp butt connectors with proper crimp tool. NOTE: Butt connectors are heat shrink type. Once crimped, shrink over wires with heat gun. 2. Use (4) male and (4) female terminal connectors to connect the trinary switch as shown in the wiring diagram below. Crimp terminal connectors with proper crimp tool. 3. Plug the fan connectors into the fans. 4. Wire according to the wiring diagram below. White Ground Wire Butt Connector Purple Wire
