It eliminates or reduces them to a minimum. Owing to the high density of the filters used, a very high level of separation of the particles and contaminants to be aspirated is achieved. The filters can be combined as individual modules and are easy to replace. Consequently, if replacement is required, you only actually need to change the saturated filter, whereas the remainder can continue to be used. The turbine cooling (bypass cooling) inside the devices ensures very long services lives of the turbine units, even during constant use. It is also perfectly suited for use as an illuminated magnifying glass for various viewing distances. Functional principle The light from a halogen lamp ➊ is focalised by an optical system ➋ and deflected by approx 90° by a mirror ➌. The observer holds the borescope as close as possible to the object to be inspected and examines the object illuminated by the instrument immediately above the mirror. A lens wheel ➍ on which lenses of the various different focal lengths are arranged in a circle, is located immediately in front of the mirror. By turning the lens wheel, the observer can select the most appropriate lens to obtain a clearer and magnified image of the object.
